A little spotlight on a new special at The Blue Bell, Wentbridge!

Our homemade Yorkshire Sausage Scotch Egg made its first proper appearance on our specials board last night and what lovely feedback we had! 💙

We really have a fantastic kitchen team. The time, care and skill that goes into creating dishes like this is something we're incredibly proud of.

A proper homemade Scotch egg, served with pickled red onion and watercress. Even our pickled walnut ketchup is homemade!

After last night's wonderful response, we're delighted to say this one has earned itself a permanent spot on our Autumn/Winter menu! 🍂

The weekend is here at The Blue Bell and we've got plenty to look forward to!

Lucy Williams will be singing with us tonight from 6.30pm, providing some lovely live music to enjoy.

Our chefs have been busy preparing lots of delicious specials, and with the autumn weather now here, it's the perfect excuse to get cosy in the pub.

And of course, there's our much-loved Sunday Carvery to round off the weekend.

Halloumi with hot honey and pomegranate, confit duck croquette, chicken supreme, Gressingham duck breast and lamb rump - plus our Catch of the Day, pan-seared sea bass.

We’re looking forward to welcoming Lucy Williams to the Blue Bell for the first time next Friday, 9th October.

Lucy will be singing live from 6.30pm, bringing a little live music to your Friday evening.

Also, after the lovely response to Jess Simpson singing last month, we’ve added an extra date to our October calendar. Jess will be joining us again on Friday 23rd October, also from 6.30pm.

There’s a change of season in the air, and September brings plenty of reasons to call in to The Blue Bell.

🍂 Our Lighter Lunch is served Monday to Friday - £12.95 for one course or £15.95 for two. A choice of Blue Bell favourites in lighter portions, for anyone who fancies something a little smaller.

🍂 Sunday Carvery - proper roasts, Yorkshire puddings and all the trimmings.

🍂 Friday 18th September - live music with Jess Simpson from 6.30pm. Join us for dinner, drinks and relaxed live music into the evening.
