🏆 Group E is done, and that brings the first week of Plymouth’s Favourite Pub 2026 to a close!
The Lounge takes the win and becomes the fifth pub through to the last 16! 🍻
They now join The Brook Inn, The Hyde Park, The Kings Head and The Dolphin in the knockout stages.
🥇 The Lounge: 301 votes
🥈 The Bull and Bush: 212 votes
🥉 The Crown & Anchor: 161 votes
That’s 674 valid unique votes across Group E.
The voting was incredibly strong across all three pubs, but The Lounge came out on top with just under 45% of the final vote.
The post itself generated an enormous 724 comments, 55 shares and 45,578 views!
That makes Group E one of the biggest responses of the competition so far! As always, the results are processed using TrueParse, the software I built for last year’s competition, with the final count also sense-checked using AI.
A massive congratulations to The Lounge, and a huge thank you to The Bull and Bush and The Crown & Anchor for getting involved.
And as I keep saying, being knocked out of this competition doesn’t make any of these pubs any less worth supporting.
The whole point of Plymouth’s Favourite Pub is to celebrate the city’s pubs, get people talking about them and hopefully introduce a few people to somewhere they haven’t tried before.

The first five voting posts have now generated a combined 185,028 views. That’s more than 185,000 views in the first week alone, with another 11 first-round groups still to come before we even reach the knockout stages.
