WE’RE BACK OPEN! ☕❤️
We’ve been very quiet during what has been one of the most challenging periods we’ve ever faced, but now that we’re finally back open, we wanted to take a moment to say thank you.
The unexpected building collapse risk opposite us changed everything overnight. Like many others in the area, we suddenly lost our routine, stability and income, and were left with no choice but to close our doors immediately.
While the situation affected everyone nearby, we were unfortunately forced to shut completely, with no access to our premises. We explored every possible avenue for support, but sometimes circumstances are simply beyond anyone’s control.
Our thoughts remain with the residents whose lives were turned upside down by this incident. Compared to what they have been through, our challenges are small.
We would also like to thank the council and everyone involved in managing the situation. Public safety had to come first, and we appreciate the support and communication we’ve received throughout.
With no clear reopening date for such a long time, we had to put the café on hold and find work elsewhere while we waited. It has been a difficult and uncertain few months, but today we were finally able to reopen our doors.
The support, messages and encouragement we’ve received during this time have meant more than you’ll ever know. Every message, every share and every kind word has helped keep us going, and we’re incredibly grateful.
