👀 Spotted! Opening soon, the popular independent Mexican Street Food spot Compadres is moving to a new location on New George Street in West End Plymouth - Plymouth City Centre

Get ready for even more delicious tacos 🌮, burritos 🌯, and nachos! The new location offers plenty of space whether you want to sit down and relax or grab a quick bite on the go.

Having first visited them at their original Plymouth Market location in May last year, it is fantastic to see their business growing and expanding.

Adiós to our little home 🌯🥰🌮
Today is our last day at our first home in the Plymouth Market.
This tiny corner is where Compadres started — just two people, a dream, and a lot of burritos. You queued in the rain, you brought your friends, your dogs, your kids. You made this place feel huge.
We’re so grateful for every single burrito, taco and nacho you’ve eaten here. We laughed, we cried (happy tears), we ran out of Barbacoa more times than we’d like to admit.
We close the door here today, and open a new one on 17th September at our new site. Same Compadres, just a bigger kitchen and more red chairs.
If you’ve ever eaten with us here, thank you. You built this.

In progress & a little chaotic, but getting there 🔨✨
No burritos yet, just paint trays, wood shavings, and a very long to-do list.
Walls going up, benches going in, dream slowly coming together. It’s messy, it’s dusty, and we’re absolutely buzzing.
