With the heat wave forecast again this week, and after carefully considering both the cafe team’s wellbeing and the customer experience, we will be making temporary changes to reduce the heat source in the kitchen.
Our refrigeration is struggling to maintain temperature with the air temp of the kitchen exceeding 36 degrees yesterday. It’s imperative that we are able to keep the food chilled and safe for you to eat. With that in mind, there will be no breakfasts served over the next few days as the Bain Marie unit will remain switched off. Everything else will be cooked from scratch, so you may find slightly longer waiting times.
The girls work incredibly hard in these temperatures and we appreciate your patience if your favourite dish is temporarily unavailable or if things take a little longer to prepare. You can help reduce your wait time and call ahead to order on 01752 202118.
You may find a limited menu, but fear not, our full offer will resume as temperatures start to drop again.
