Tomorrow a mini festival on the wharf 🤠🍺
Community Spirit Takes Over Commercial Wharf This Saturday!
Local, independent businesses are joining forces to host a vibrant, family friendly event at Commercial Wharf this Saturday, 4 April.
The event promises a lively atmosphere for both Barbican regulars and first time visitors, celebrating the unique character of our local independent scene.
Enjoy a mix of temporary stalls alongside the wharf's popular resident businesses:
smAshland burgers. (Gourmet bites)
Rise and Grind (Coffee and treats)
The Boathouse Plymouth (Seafood and hospitality)
Bertie's Ice Cream & Home Made Desserts (Sweet Treats)
Whether you’re looking for family fun or a place to relax, there is plenty on the agenda:
> For Kids: Get creative with a slime stall and professional face painting.
> Special Guests: Meet the Royal Marines gig rowing team, who will be attending the event.
> Live Music: The main stage, supported by Cattewater Harbour, kicks off at 12pm, featuring performances by local favorites Jodie, Michael Collings, and Liam NB.
Last year, Plymouth City Council and Cattewater Harbour Plymouth Commissioners agreed a long-term lease for Commercial Wharf, enabling the Commissioners to invest in, improve, and directly manage the location.
To make the day even more comfortable, additional temporary seating will be installed throughout the wharf. It’s the perfect opportunity to grab a drink, find a spot by the water, and support the local businesses that make Plymouth unique.
