💙‼️JJ Update‼️💙
Guess who's 2 weeks old today 🙋♂️🎂
Wow, those 2 weeks went fast!! World side has been a rollercoaster so far indeed!!
Sorry I have been quiet this past week, after a very traumatic last day in hospital and just after the birth and hospital stay in general, me, mummy and daddy really needed some down time, especially mummy...she has needed to rest and heal both mentally and physically as it all took its tole on all of us. But with the help of me and daddy, mummy in her own words, no longer feels like a zombie and is starting to feel more and more herself with everyday that passes...I am so proud of her 💙
We have only just got around to opening all of your amazing gifts, I can not believe how loved and spoilt I already am and I haven't even met any of you yet!! But I really can not wait to meet you all 💙. The generosity of you all as been so overwhelming...the crochet skills out there are second to none, not only are they all beautiful, but the fact you have all taken so much time and skill to make these for little ol me is very humbling. All the blankets, cardigans and hats have been so stimulating and brought so much colour and love into our home at such a needed time. I rotate the blankets every night so I get to use them all as I love them all so much so thank you. All the other gifts again are so thoughtful, we have gifts with my name sown or printed into them, I have even been given a royal mint card with all of todays coins in it as a momento of how the coins looked on the day I was born...how epic is that?! I dont really know what coins are yet, but they are pretty so they must be good. I have been given books with a sentimental meaning behind them, cant wait to go through these with mummy and daddy when i am older. I have lots of vouchers and cheques and cards...honestly the list goes on. Mummy and daddy said they will post a picture of me with all my gifts soon when they eventually get the house back in order as apparently a little whirlwind arrived and ripped through it turning it all upside down? I have no idea what they are talking about!
So, what have I learnt in my second week?
Milk is soooo scrummy, so scrummy in fact that I have spent the last 2 days cluster feeding which has been really fun for everyone involved 💙 I am more settled today but feel like I have grown lots in the last 48 hours!
My favourite place in the whole world is either on my mummy or daddy's chest...i could sleep there for hours and hours like an undisturbed squirrel monkey 🥰
My daddy is the most FUN and bestest human in the world.....he plays with me everyday, interacts with me constantly and always ensures me and mummy have everything we need and he has been keeping on top of the house work too...we are very lucky to have him,
Even if he is a bit loud sometimes, wouldn't change him for the world.
Not a fan of the car seat...not sure why but just not a fan, we are working on it though and hopefully I will get over myself soon with that 💙
Had my first bath the other day, wow that was a shock...cried for about 10 seconds, then realised it was actually very yummy to be back in warm water again, reminded me of my last home 🥰
Both my mummy and daddy still can not believe how lucky they are to have me, I dont think they genuinely believe I am real yet 🤣 it is been so surreal getting to know eachother and create our incredible bond...what an absolute blessing 💙💙
