A regular makers market held first Saturday of the month in the cafe and upstairs studio spaces at 32 Batter St for our brilliant local community of artists, makers and indies.

Shop small and support local ❤️

We will have a mix hand made jewellery, art & prints, collage art & kits, crochet, illustrations, home wares, books, preloved vintage treasures and more ✨✨

The cafe is always open as usual on market days for brunch, lunch, coffee & cakes, refills from Jar and bakery will be open downstairs ✨✨

It’s free entry, pop in and say hi 😊

What’s on in September ✨

This Saturday is the Almanac Makers Market, held each month to support our brilliant community of local artists and makers. The cafe will be open as usual for brunch, lunch coffee, cakes and refills and Heyl Bakery will be open downstairs! ✨

Almanac & Jar will be closed Wednesday 9th to Saturday 12th September to give our team a break after a busy Summer. Heyl Bakery will be open as usual and the cafe will reopen as usual on Wednesday 16th September.

We will be hosting the Message of Hope exhibition 17th to 19th September, run by Agnieszka Zając the exhibition will raise money for mental health charities.

Every third Saturday of the month we host a coffee morning for Plymouth Greens 🌞

The cafe is always open as usual on market days for brunch, lunch, coffee & cakes ✨ Jar is open for refills and Heyl Bakery is downstairs with fabulous bakes ✨✨

Almanac seitan kebab 🌞

We always have a kebab on the menu and we love changing up the flavours and fillings. The kebabs, fillings & flatbreads are made from scratch in our kitchen using simple ingredients from jar and seasonal produce.

This one has our own herby seitan with baby spinach, house garlic mayo, summer slaw and pickled beetroot on an extra virgin olive oil flatbread 🌞

Our menu changes week to week, and through the week, as the seasons move and new produce comes into the kitchen 🌞

We always have a lunch of the day with a mix of beautiful flavours, and different sizes available for different appetites 🌞

We make everything from scratch so if there’s something you don’t like or can’t have just let us know and we can always tweak things a bit! 🌞🌞🌞
