Well,
A year ago today we embarked on what was the scariest yet most exhilarating project - The Lemon Tree Cafe 🍋
After hours of meetings, hard work, tears, blood, sweat and many laughs, we had the keys and this beautiful little cafe became ours.
We have worked so incredibly hard for the past year, given 110% percent 24 hours a day to make this the success it has been.
The past year has been amazing, we’ve won awards, met the most amazing people, hosted some lovely celebrations, started our very popular Italian nights, cried at laughter during our Quiz nights but above all, we have loved every second ❤️
Thankyou Thankyou Thankyou - to everyone who has walked through our door with a smile, we love the little community we have created and we hope we can continue to make this little gem as good as it can be!
But nothing would’ve been possible without everyone support, our regulars, customers, friends and our family, Thankyou for everything. Our staff, who have been our backbone of support this past year, Thankyou so much for patting us on the back and drying our tears when we needed it, it’s been a long year and we know it wouldn’t have been possible without you ❤️
Thankyou to everyone in the village who have welcomed us with open arms, your support, guidance and kindness have been greatly appreciated and we will always be thankful❤️
Finally, the people who made this happen, Mr & Mrs Tedesco. The effort that goes into behind the scenes which no one sees from these two is remarkable. You should be proud, of what you’ve built this past year. It’s been a joy to help in whatever way I could to make this a success for you both. You’ve done it. The blood and tears were worth it. I think I can speak for us all when I say there aren’t enough words to describe how thankful we are and how much we have enjoyed our first year. It’s been a whirlwind, but one that will always be in our best memories.
Rest assured the cafe is only going to improve and get better, we know with confidence that this is only the beginning of what we are capable of, but the support and love we have received have made everything possible, without that, this incredible journey wouldn’t have been so enjoyable, so thankyou.
