We’re hiring!

With the opening of The Vine getting closer, we’re really excited to start growing our team across both The Vine and The VOT.

At the moment, we’re looking to bring in one or two experienced senior team members before The Vine opens, people who already know their way around a busy hospitality environment and can hit the ground running.

We’re especially looking for people who are:
Experienced in hospitality
Confident with coffee service
Cocktail trained
Used to taking responsibility during a shift
Experienced as a supervisor, senior floor member, or in a role where you’ve helped manage and support others

This isn’t just a standard floor role, we’re looking for people who can help lead the team, support service, keep standards high, and be part of something really exciting as we get ready for the next chapter.

There will be competitive pay, progression opportunities, and the chance to be involved from the start as we open our second venue.

Brass Band on Halfpenny Peninsula

Something very special is coming to the water’s edge this August.

Join us on the 6th & 20th August, from 7–9 p.m., as Plymouth City Brass perform live on Halfpenny Peninsula, overlooking the water, Mayflower Marina, and the Royal William Yard.

With the harbour as the backdrop and the sound of brass carrying across the peninsula, this is set to be a beautiful summer evening, and something we don’t believe has ever been done here before.

It’s completely free to view and open to everyone.

For the best spot, book a table and chairs in advance (for food and drink customers only) settle in by the water, and enjoy the performance. These will have a table service so no need to miss any of the action.

About last night…
What a day. From the moment the sun came out, there was a real buzz in the air, everyone seemed to be out enjoying the weather and making the most of it. Then, just when you thought the day couldn’t get any better, the sky put on this incredible sunset to round it all off. A perfect end to a perfect day.
