🐾 T’s Dog Fest has had a little bit of a shuffle around 😂
Don’t panic… it’s still the same Dog Fest you know and love, we’ve just moved a few things around a little... all for a good reason.
You’ll still have:
🐶 Fantastic dog-themed market stalls
🌳 Our lovely woodland walk
🚗 Free parking
🎟️ Free entry
🏆 And, of course, thr dog show!
So what’s changed?
As you arrive at T’s, you’ll see the flat grass bank on the right-hand side of the coffee hut. This is where the dog show will now take place. 🐕🏆
We’ve done this because we want the dog show to be more accessible for everyone, particularly those who have joined us before but haven’t been able to take part because of the previous layout.
The market stalls will be on the gravel, so unfortunately that area won’t be quite as accessible. We are, as always, working with the space we have…but hopefully this little rearrangement means more people and more dogs, can get involved in the fun.
So, same Dog Fest. Just a slightly different layout. 🐾❤️

🌿🗑️ A little bit of good stuff happening in our woodland yesterday…
You may have spotted a lovely young lady wandering around T’s yesterday, litter picker in hand, doing her bit for World Clean Up Day. 💚
But there was a little more to it than that…
She’s raising funds for her adventure of a lifetime to Borneo 🌴🐒 and decided that picking up other people’s rubbish was a pretty good way to help fill the fundraising pot!
And we reckon that deserves a big well done! 👏
Doing good for the planet and helping fund an incredible adventure. We like it. 🌎❤️

🐾 T’S DOG FEST IS ALMOST HERE! 🐾
Just a few days to go, so here’s the important stuff… 👇
❤️ All for Animals in Need
Every stallholder fee + money from the fun dog show goes straight to the charity.
☕ 9am – Coffee hut & woodland walk open
🛍️ 10am – Market opens
🐶 11am – Fun Dog Show starts!
🏆 HOW DOES THE DOG SHOW WORK?
• Classes run one after another — no strict timings
• We’ll work through the list in order
• Allow roughly 15–20 mins per class
• No official judge! Our lovely class sponsors will be judging, with help from Animals in Need.
🐕 WANT TO ENTER YOUR DOG?
Just turn up and enter on the day! Pick your classes, pay your entry and get involved. 🐾
And most importantly…
IT’S A FUN DOG SHOW! 😂
If you’re expecting Crufts, clipboard-wielding seriousness and dogs that actually listen… you may want to lower your expectations!
Come along, have a laugh, enter your dog, cheer everyone on and help us raise as much as we can for Animals in Need. ❤️

More doggy fun in October at T's Coffee

We’re launching six weeks of fundraising fun, bringing together our wonderful dog community to raise money for Animals in Need Northamptonshire! ❤️

And it all kicks off THIS SATURDAY & SUNDAY at Heart of the Shires!
Come along and join us for:
🐶 Our Scarecrow Dog Show, get creative and enter your very own scarecrow dog!

🔎 Live scent detection demonstrations, watch our dogs show off their incredible noses.

🐾 Have a Go at Scent Detection, let your own dog join in the fun!
We’ll have plenty of other little fundraising activities and doggy adventures along the way, all leading up to our grand finale at T’s Coffee on 25th October!
🎃 THE GREAT SCARECROW HUNT!
Six canine contenders. One spooky search area. Ninety seconds on the clock!
Sponsor your favourite search dog and cheer them on as they race to identify as many correct scarecrows as possible. Who will take the crown? 🏆

We’re only human… and occasionally our Sunday stock planning goes completely out the window. 😂
Yesterday’s at T’s Coffee:
🥓 Bacon rolls - gone by 12.30pm.
🥚 Eggs - gone by 10am.
📞Emergency phone a friend to buy more eggs. 🤦‍♀️
Because apparently yesterday everyone fancied eggs. Who knew?! 😂
Some Sundays we sell loads of something. Other Sundays it barely moves. Add in mini markets, normal trading days and the fact we’re only open once a week… and sometimes it’s a bit of a guessing game!
So yes, occasionally we run out.
We’re learning. We’re tweaking. We’re sorry.

Next week for T's Dog Fest Im doubling down on everything....there's no chance to run out...is there? 🤔

☕️ So… what are T’s Coffee mini markets actually all about then?

A few weeks ago, someone commented under one of our posts that they felt sorry for our stallholders because nobody was actually looking at their stalls or products… especially as there was a dog activity happening at the same time. 🐶
Now, I could have ignored it.....but obviously I didn’t. Because I’m me. 😂
So I went back to the stallholders and asked them honestly:
“Do you actually WANT to come to these mini markets?”
And the answer was a pretty resounding YES.
Because here’s the thing…
A T’s mini market isn’t a craft fair.
It isn’t the big Love Local Market with 40-odd stalls, queues, dogs, kids, coffee and desperately searching for a parking space!

It’s deliberately small and relaxed.
There’s time to breathe. Time for a coffee. Time to chat. Time to meet other small businesses. Time to actually tell people about what you do rather than spending the entire morning shouting over the general market mayhem.
And yes, of course stallholders like making sales, we all have bills to pay! 😉
But a mini market isn’t necessarily about making loads of sales.
It’s about being seen. Making connections. Meeting new customers. Having conversations. And enjoying the day.
And the fact that so many of our stallholders keep coming back tells me they quite like this slower version of market life. ❤️
Will everyone love a mini market?
Probably not.
And that's absolutely fine.
But for me, T’s has always been about local businesses supporting local businesses, sharing the space, having a laugh and creating somewhere people actually want to spend a Sunday morning.
And that, my friends, is a T’s mini market. 😂☕️🐾🌳
And I bloody love them.

🐾 IT’S NOT ALL ABOUT THE WINNING… BUT IT IS ABOUT TAKING PART! 🐾
I was reminded of this recently when I took my little boy Aster to a dog show for Animals in Need.
Aster has never really been to anything like this before and, well… overwhelmed doesn’t quite cover it! 😂 There were dogs EVERYWHERE, people everywhere, lots going on and a whole lot for a little brain to process.
But do you know what? He was such a good boy. ❤️
We didn’t win a single class. Not one. 😂
But actually, the day was a complete win.
He got out, experienced something new, met lots of dogs, had a bit of a social life… and came home absolutely mentally knackered! 💤🐶
And that’s exactly what I love about DogFest at T’s.
Yes, there are rosettes and prizes, and of course we all secretly want to hear our dog's name called out! 😉 But it’s just as much about getting involved, having fun and giving your dog the chance to experience something new.
So whether you’re bringing home Best in Show or simply bringing home a very tired dog…
YOU’VE WON. 🐾❤️
I can’t wait to see all of your gorgeous pups at T’s DogFest in aid of Animals in Need. 🐶
And remember… there are no losers when there are treats involved. 😉

🌿 This Sunday at T’s…

Our Mini Market is back this Sunday, smaller, relaxed and easier to find a parking spot than the Love Local Market Days.
Come for a mooch around the stalls (all local), grab a proper coffee, something tasty to eat, and then take a wander through the woodland. ☕🌳🐾
No big crowds. No rushing. Just a lovely Sunday morning at T’s. ❤️
