Looking for a lesson in how to be relentlessly optimistic when life piles up around you? ⏳⛱️

🎬 Watch the official trailer for HAPPY DAYS, Samuel Beckett’s extraordinary play from the Nobel Prize-winning writer - named by The Independent as one of the 40 greatest plays of all time.

At its centre is one of theatre’s most extraordinary challenges: Winnie. Almost entirely fixed in one spot, she has to fill an entire world with her voice, memories, rituals, humour and sheer determination to keep going.

In Roxana Silbert’s captivating production, Siobhán Redmond takes on the monumental role, alongside Forbes Masson as Willie, in a Studio transformed by designer Emma Bailey into Beckett’s vivid, scorched landscape.

Funny, tender, absurd and astonishingly human.

📆 Happy Days is now playing until 10 Oct at Pitlochry Festival Theatre, Scotland.

📸 FIRST LOOK: Sequins, spectacle and Simon Russell Beale as Liberace - the world premiere of I’LL BE SEEING YOU has arrived!

Simon leads the company alongside Fra Fee in Martin Sherman’s mesmerising new play - now glittering exclusively across the Pitlochry Festival Theatre stage until 11 Oct.

A writer is tasked to write a play all about one of the 20th century’s most dazzling entertainers, Liberace. But "Mr Showmanship” himself appears, and reality and fantasy begin to blur….

Directed by Alan Cu***ng, making his directorial debut, and Ben Occhipinti, this glittering new play explores truth, memory, identity and the complicated man behind the legend. 🎹

And yes, the spectacle is every bit as fabulous, glamorous and sumptuous as you'd expect, with spectacular set and costume design by Tony and Olivier award-winning designer Tim Hatley.

What does it take to bring a fresh eye to one of the world’s best-loved musicals? One of Britain’s most celebrated musical theatre talents: Maria Friedman.

Performer, director, four-time Olivier Award winner, Maria has spent more than 30 years being a force in musical theatre - commanding stages, championing Sondheim and creating theatrical magic from the director’s chair.

Maria can currently be seen captivating audiences in the title role of the award-winning Kimberly Akimbo at Hampstead Theatre, marking her return to the stage after seven years.

Her recent directing work has been just as extraordinary with her 2022 Broadway production of Merrily We Roll Along leading to four Tony Awards, including Best Revival of a Musical, with Maria nominated for Best Direction.

This winter, Maria brings that extraordinary breadth of experience, instinct and imagination to Scotland as she directs our new chamber production of My Fair Lady. 🌸

And audiences are already making it a date - with several performances now down to limited availability, don’t leave it too late to join us in Pitlochry this festive season.
