The Wee Choo-Choo has been exceptionally busy with full houses night after night. We are incredibly grateful to our guests and small team. ❤️

Many upcoming dates are already fully booked, so we strongly recommend reserving in advance. Walk-in tables cannot be guaranteed.

🚂 For shorter waiting times, we recommend visiting between 3:00pm and 5:00pm. All dishes are freshly prepared to order by one chef, and our last kitchen orders are at 8:00pm.

🇹🇭 We serve authentic Southern Thai cuisine using traditional family recipes and carefully sourced ingredients. Some dishes may sell out during service.

🚨Allergies & Dietary Requirements

We know it’s only September… but Christmas will be here before we know it! 🎅✨

We’re sharing our festive opening hours nice and early so you can start planning your Christmas visits with us. ❤️

📅 If you’re hoping to dine with us in December, we strongly recommend booking in advance, especially for larger parties. Our availability is limited and once a booking slot is gone, it’s gone! 🚂

🎉 LARGE PARTIES
If you’re planning a Christmas meal, work night out or gathering with a larger group, please book as early as possible. Some dates are already starting to fill, and we may not be able to accommodate large parties at short notice.

As we enter the festive season, walk-in availability may be limited and we cannot guarantee a table without a reservation. We also kindly ask that you be patient and understanding with our team during this busy period, they will always be doing their very best. ❤️

✨ A LITTLE REMINDER ABOUT DINING WITH US

All our dishes are freshly prepared to order by our single chef, using traditional Southern Thai family recipes and carefully sourced ingredients, many of which are imported directly from Thailand. 🇹🇭

Because everything is freshly prepared, waiting times can be longer during busy periods. For the best dining experience, we recommend visiting between 3:00pm and 5:00pm. Our last kitchen orders are at 8:00pm.

Highland Banana Leaf Beef Panang Curry แพนงเนื้อ

Our signature Panang curry, prepared exclusively using The Wee Choo-Choo family recipe, passed down through generations. Scottish sirloin beef is gently cooked in our aromatic Panang curry with coconut milk, sweet chilli and aromatic makrut lime leaves, accompanied by fragrant jasmine rice, traditionally presented in a banana leaf.

A HUGE THANK YOU FROM THE WEE CHOO-CHOO TEAM 🥹💐

We would like to take a moment to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who dined with us throughout the week and especially to everyone who joined us over the weekend.

It was an incredibly busy and memorable weekend for our team and we are delighted to share that we welcomed double our usual capacity. To see so many guests choosing to spend their time with us, enjoying our food and supporting our little family-run restaurant means more to us than we can put into words.

As a small restaurant operating from our restored 1969 train carriage, every booking, every recommendation, every kind review and every visit makes a genuine difference to our business. We are incredibly grateful for the continued support we receive from both our local community and visitors travelling from further afield.

Behind every plate is a great deal of preparation, hard work and passion from our team and weekends like this remind us why we do what we do. We are so proud to share our family’s Southern Thai recipes, authentic flavours and Thai hospitality with you all here in Scotland.

We would also like to say a very special thank you to everyone who was patient and understanding with us this weekend.
With such a high volume of guests, there were moments when service took a little longer than usual and we truly appreciate your kindness, patience and understanding while our small team worked as hard as possible to look after everyone.

A special thank you to our wonderful team for working incredibly hard throughout such a busy weekend and to every guest who chose to dine with us.
