The Black Swan is a 17th Century Coaching Inn situated in the heart of Pickering, North Yorkshire offering delicious food and comfortable stays. Lunch is served daily from 12:00 until 14:30 and dinner from 6:00 until 20:30 incorporating daily chef’s specials and ‘catch of the day’. Sunday lunch is served between 12:00 and 3:00 beginning again between 17

:30 and 20.00. With over 15 craft ales, lagers and ciders on tap, The Black Swan showcases only the best beers from local brewers besides one of the best selections of wines and fine spirits in the area.

Can’t believe the brazen cheek of some people. These coasters and holders are on the tables for people to use whilst they are enjoying their time here, not to be stolen! You are more than welcome to buy the coasters for a very reasonable price from the bar, if you just ask - and they don’t have the QR code on the reverse side so it’s quite clear then that they have been purchased rather than stolen…..it’s hard enough for these kinds of business to make any profit currently without people doing things like this. Hope you’re ashamed of yourselves!!

Unfortunately we will have to delay opening today due to staff illness combined with a long-awaited hospital appointment which can’t be missed - hopefully we’ll be open by 6:30pm! Sorry for any inconvenience……any check-ins, please ring the back doorbell and someone will let you in.

8 months this week since this all started after the road was resurfaced! And we are still no further forwards; “temporary traffic lights” causing mayhem and barriers surrounding the big hole that was dug 6 months ago, ongoing trade badly affected.
