A dinner party without the cooking or washing up? Now we’re talking.

That’s carpaccio of beef fillet with rocket in the photo, plated on slate and ready to go. It’s one of the starters we’ve served for private dining.

We come to your home, cook your chosen menu in your kitchen, serve each course and clear up afterwards. We even leave the kitchen as we found it. You stay at the table, enjoy the food and catch every bit of the conversation.

Private dining is a great choice for big birthdays, anniversaries, family celebrations and smaller work dos. Or simply a very good dinner because you feel like having one.

We’re a family-run team based just outside Pevensey, with an FSA five-star food hygiene rating.

Everyone loved the food. Four words we never get tired of hearing.

Thank you, Helen. A cold fork buffet has one job. Keep the whole room happy. Hearing that the food was varied, delicious and worthy of another booking has made our day. We will be holding you to that last bit.

Our cold fork buffets are made fresh in our Pevensey kitchen and delivered ready to set out. They’re an easy choice for office lunches, birthdays, meetings, christenings and family get-togethers.

Got a date in the diary and people to feed? Email [email protected] or send us a message through our contact form.

Thank you again, Helen. We look forward to round two.

Village halls know how to throw a party. Luckily, we know how to feed one.

Tables set, flowers out, lanterns and fairy lights up. These two were ready for a very good party. The food is our bit.

Before confirming a menu, we check what the hall kitchen can handle. Some have commercial equipment, while others have a domestic oven and limited worktops. That helps us decide what equipment we need to bring.

Depending on the hall, the menu could be sharing platters, a cold buffet, a hot fork meal or a plated dinner.

For staffed events, we bring our team and serviceware, then leave the kitchen as we found it.

Got a village hall booked and food still to organise? Email [email protected] with the venue, date and estimated guest numbers.

Finally managed to get the whole family together for an event? Keep them there with canapés.

These two are made for the bit while everyone is still arriving. Roasted Mediterranean vegetable bruschetta with Grana Padano, and smoked mackerel pâté with gherkin on rye.

Both fit neatly in one hand, leaving the other free for a drink or a long-overdue hug.

We cater for birthdays, christenings, anniversaries, garden parties and family lunches. Choose an informal finger buffet, afternoon tea, a cold fork buffet or a sit-down meal. Depending on the menu, we can deliver the food or provide staff to serve and clear afterwards.

Got a family celebration coming up? Email [email protected] with the date, guest numbers and any dietary requirements.

Getting married? Excellent. Now, what are we eating?

The photos show our team at work, with roast balsamic shallot tarte tatins ready to serve.

Our family-run team caters weddings across East Sussex, including celebrations in marquees, barns, village halls and dry-hire venues. We can help plan the menu, cook, serve your guests and clear up afterwards.

That leaves you free to enjoy the day, talk to everyone and remember where you put the rings.

Funny how everyone suddenly has time for a meeting when lunch looks like this.

Four trays, one office and lunch sorted. This delivery included sandwiches on brown and white bread, vegetable samosas with a dip, mini sausages and chicken skewers.

Everything arrives on black recyclable trays with clear lids, labelled by item and with allergens marked. No office detective work required.

We deliver finger buffets, individual bagged lunches, salad boxes, client lunches and breakfasts that arrive before the first meeting, not halfway through it.

Many of our regular office clients have a set corporate rate and leave the menu choice to us. We can cater for 30 people or 300. Tell us about any vegetarian, vegan or other dietary requirements when you order and we will plan for them.

Got a meeting, away day or team lunch to organise? Email [email protected] with your headcount and dietary requirements.

Going back for a second slice of honey roast gammon counts as quality control, right?

Especially when it looks like this. Thick slices, a sticky honey glaze and those caramelised edges.

It is one of the meat choices on our hot fork roast menu, served with garlic and rosemary roast potatoes, stuffing balls, Yorkshire puddings and two vegetables.

A hot fork buffet keeps things easy. Everyone helps themselves, nobody is stuck at a table for hours and your guests still get a hot plateful.

There are four sharing menus to choose from, with roast dinners, lasagne, warming stews, fish dishes and meat-free options among the choices. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free dishes are marked clearly on the menus.

We’re a family-run team based just outside Pevensey, with an FSA five-star food hygiene rating, delivering across East Sussex.

You may never have had to arrange food for a funeral wake before. We have, and we can help you.

Our new blog explains what food works well, how much to order and what help is available if you would rather not handle the serving yourselves.

For most wakes, a cold finger buffet is a good choice. Guests can help themselves as they arrive and spend time speaking to family and friends without everyone needing to sit down at once.

The buffet pictured shows the sort of food we mean. Freshly cut sandwiches, sausage rolls and small savoury bites that are easy to pick up and eat.

The guide also covers our funeral tea menus, dietary requirements and the choice between delivery or a complete service with staff. Food-only menus currently start at £12 plus VAT per person.

We have catered funeral wakes across East Sussex since 2013. We understand that arrangements are often made at short notice and you may not have every detail confirmed. A rough date and estimated guest number are enough for us to start helping.

You can find the full guide on the news section of our website.

If you need us, email [email protected] or use our contact form when you feel ready.

Still looking for your autumn wedding caterer? Consider these photos our application for the job.

First out was warm Asian-style duck fillet salad with fresh mint, pomegranate seeds and Thai dressing. Then came three little puddings, because asking wedding guests to choose just one seemed unnecessarily cruel.

Autumn weddings lose the light a little sooner, so we plan the food around your timings. That way, the starters are not heading out while the newlyweds are still taking photographs in a field.

We’re a family-run team based in Pevensey, near Eastbourne. We cook and serve every wedding ourselves and only take on one at a time. No disappearing to another reception halfway through pudding.

One happy bride-to-be, one very happy catering team.

Sheena, thank you so much for this. Knowing the food went down well and the team made the evening easier rather than something else to manage means a lot to us. Friendly, smooth and efficient is exactly what we aim for, so having all three come back to us in one message is brilliant to read.

This is the whole point of doing what we do. Whether it's a hen do, a wedding or a big family celebration, we want you looking after your guests, not the buffet table. Our team turns up, gets on with it, and lets you actually enjoy the night you've planned.

Congratulations to your daughter, and thank you for having us there for it.
