A Message From a Proud Father

To my dear friends and the incredible community of Petersfield,

From 2010 to 2018, I had the privilege of serving you and being part of this wonderful town’s heartbeat. My restaurant was more than a business. it was a home, a dream, and a place where memories were made with family, friends, and loyal customers. Life brought challenges that led me to let go of that chapter, but Petersfield has never left my heart.

Today, I am filled with pride and emotion as I share something truly special with you. My sons are returning to Petersfield not just to continue our family’s story, but to bring it forward into something new and exciting. With passion, hard work, and love, they are opening a fresh chapter for our family and for this town.

They will honour the spirit of our past while bringing their own creativity and energy. You will see familiar warmth, but now with a menu full of your favourite Thai dishes, alongside Japanese sushi and pan Asian flavours a celebration of tradition and innovation.

My request to you is simple: please welcome them the way you once welcomed me. Support them, believe in them, and give them the chance to share their food, their heart, and their dream with you.

We are so proud. I know they will make something truly spectacular not just a restaurant, but a place full of joy, flavour, and community once again.

“ Wow” I don’t know where to begin but last night was one of the most incredible nights for our industry. Not only did “Spice I Am” Win the BEST THAI restaurant in the south of England but Lemongrass had also won the award for BEST RESTAURANT GROUP in the UK! And finally our not so little, little chef Sahil was recognised as the Best Young Chef in the Country! Such a surreal moment as our wonderful team celebrated a Hattrick of awards at the Asian Curry Awards last night!

“ It’s been challenging since the 1st lockdown, sadly some of us have lost more than just business and for this reason we are incredibly thankful and grateful everyday.

We cannot deny that we are proud of our humble beginnings & years of hard work to finally be recognised at the top of our industry for being the best in the nation. It’s fair to say we were surprised and excited to be apart of such a prestigious award ceremony last night.

I’d like to thank our valuable guests who nominated and voted for us! We always say this but we have the best guests in the whole country. Thank you for Your support pre, during & post lockdown you’ve been the best! None of this would have been possible without you all!

Last but no means least thank you to the entire lemongrass team, kitchen porters, chefs, waitresses, waiters, cleaners & managers who have been working side by side with us. Thank you all for bringing what started as a vision to a reality! We love you ❤️
