🐟 FROM FRESH FISH TO THE FINISHED PLATE… 👨‍🍳

This is where our fishcakes begin — beautiful flakes of smoked haddock, salmon and cod, cooked and prepared in our kitchen before being brought together to make one of our new autumn dishes.

From there, they’re shaped, coated and cooked until beautifully golden and crisp on the outside, while staying soft, flaky and full of fish inside. 😍

We think there’s something satisfying about seeing where a dish starts before it reaches the finished plate — proper ingredients, prepared in-house and turned into something delicious.

Just a quick update for this weekend…

🐟 Saturday Lunch – NEW OFFER!
Going forward, every Saturday lunchtime you can enjoy 2 Fish & Chips for just £30!

Bring a friend and tuck into a lovely golden, crispy battered fish and chips together — great pub food at a great price. 😋

🍽️ Saturday lunch will be running as normal, so come along and make the most of our new Saturday offer.

🥂 Saturday Evening – We have a large party joining us who will be taking up the restaurant, so unfortunately we won’t be able to take any additional bookings for Saturday evening.

🍽️ Sunday – Business as usual! Our Sunday roast will be served from 12pm, and we still have a few tables available.

If you’re thinking of joining us on Sunday, we’d recommend getting booked in before those last few spots disappear. ❤️

As the seasons change, we’ve added some warmer, comforting dishes to the menu — perfect for those cooler autumn days.

🍽️ Venison & mustard sausage
Served with garlic & thyme mash and braised red cabbage.

🍝 Mushroom, spinach & chestnut rigatoni
A rich, comforting vegetarian pasta dish packed with proper autumn flavours.

These are just two of the new dishes joining our menu, alongside plenty of your Waggon favourites.
