Rooted in our passion for modern British cooking, with a focus on seasonality and ingredients grown right here in our garden, it’s fantastic to see that same ethos being embraced by the new team from day one.

As the new season begins, The Yard Castor returns with fresh garden-inspired menus celebrating the very best of what is grown and sourced. Guests can look forward to vibrant flavours, beautifully crafted plates, and the relaxed charm of dining in the covered conservatory.

Posh Pizza is back, alongside garden food and Community Wednesdays – a midweek gathering designed for locals and friends alike.

A very warm welcome to The Chubby Castor.

I’m so excited to slowly see spring finding it's feet — spring menus on the way, fresh vegetables coming through, and that feeling of everything waking up again.

I’m also buzzing about The Yard Castor reopening, and doing it bigger and better. A few little hints of what’s coming… pizza, community menus, an Aperol bar, and plenty more besides.

It’s shaping up to be a really special season and I can’t wait to share it with you all.
