Had the pleasure of a visit from the beautiful Valerie, we enjoyed listening to her reminiscing about what it was like when she worked here at the Copper kettle back in the 1970s .

After the most upsetting, soul destroying, disappointing day in my wedding cake career I am now on holiday with hubbie and Elsa for a week. Yes a whole week.

Yes I’m okay, no I’m not telling you what happened yet!

The shop is still open mon-Sat 8.30-4pm, with lots of lovely goodies for you to enjoy.

Just remember even though social media makes out everyone’s lives are fabulous, some of us don’t mind admitting we’re human.

Good morning Wednesday (hump day), today is 2:1 waffle Wednesday as always 🥰.
More exciting is today’s special roast beef with Yorkshire puddings, new potatoes and veg ❤️. Apple crumble and custard/cream if you’ve got space for pudding too.

Booking recommended but you can try your luck and pop in for a space.
