11 Years. Countless Memories. Endless Gratitude. ❤️
It is with a mixture of pride, gratitude, and emotion that we announce the sale of Kisa’s after 11 wonderful years.
When we found this perfect location, it had to be Kisa’s. We could never have imagined the journey that lay ahead. Over the years, it has become far more than just a restaurant to us—it has been a second home, a place where lasting friendships have been made, challenges overcome, and countless memories created. One of those special memories for us was the joy of decorating Kisa’s on a large scale at Christmas, which brought so much excitement and happiness to both staff and customers, and is something we will always cherish.
To our incredible staff, both past and present, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your hard work, commitment, loyalty, and care have helped create the warm and welcoming atmosphere that Kisa’s has always been known for. We are so proud of everything we have achieved together and will always be grateful for the part each of you has played in our story.
To our customers, thank you for supporting us throughout the years. Your loyalty, encouragement, and kindness have meant more to us than words can express. Through the busy days, the difficult times, and the many successes, your support has always been there, and we will never forget it.
We would also like to thank our family, whose unwavering support, encouragement, and hard work behind the scenes have helped us every step of the way. Running a restaurant is never a one-person job, and we simply could not have done it without them. Their sacrifices, patience, and belief in us have meant more than they will ever know.
This decision has not been an easy one, but after much thought, we feel the time is right for a new chapter. We are delighted to be handing Kisa’s over to Douglas Cruickshanks, who is excited about the future and passionate about continuing the success of this much-loved Perth institution. We know Kisa’s is in good hands and hope you will give Douglas the same support and welcome that you have always shown us.
Although we are saying goodbye to Kisa’s, we are not retiring. We remain fully committed to Le Jardin in Kinross and support our son and daughter-in-law at Cafe Kisa in Auchterarder, and we look forward to continuing to welcome our customers there for many years to come.
As we close this very special chapter, we do so with immense gratitude and pride. Thank you for being part of our journey and for helping make the last 11 years so memorable. Kisa’s will always hold a special place in our hearts.
With love and heartfelt thanks,
Sam & Kim x

We did consider keeping this brief, but found 11 years is harder to summarise than expected 🥰
