The menu for our Mexican Night on Sat 20th June has officially landed! And with Father’s Day on the 21st (you’re welcome), may we suggest showing your appreciation through the universal language of guacamole?

We’ve got an absolute BELTER of a Notorious on this week 🔥👏

Huge thanks to our amazing chef Fraser for this beauty:

Slow-cooked ham hock, wholegrain mustard mayo, pickled apple, celeriac remoulade, rocket & crunchy crackling, all stacked inside a toasted ciabatta - served with chips, salad & coleslaw 🤤

This one’s not hanging around for long 👀

Our bread has just landed and we DOUGH not believe our luck! 🍞

We’re so excited to now be working with — with fresh deliveries arriving twice a week, every Tuesday & Saturday 🙌

With all this amazing bread (& some sweet treats too!), we’ll be changing up our sandwich menu and bringing in some new favourites very soon 🤤

You can also pre-order bread for collection if there’s something specific you’d like us to put aside — we just need at least 2 days’ notice ❤️

One of the things we get the most love for at The Nook is…the nooks themselves 🤎

Tucked away along our back wall is a collection of family heirlooms, Scottish antiques, and pieces we’ve gathered over time — each with its own story.

Now living in Abernethy and served with chips.

Greek spice chicken, homemade tzatziki, garlic aioli, pickled red onions…all stuffed into a toasted ciabatta like the absolute titan it is.

NEW BOTHY STONES HAVE LANDED! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

After a ridiculous amount of detective work to even get John McDonald’s contact details (I may or may not have had to bribe someone…), we’ve finally restocked his stunning one-of-a-kind Bothy Stones.

Each stone is hand-selected from the Outer Hebrides and transformed into a tiny painted bothy inspired by the wild Scottish landscape. No two are ever the same.

We’ve now got a small collection in different sizes available in the gift shop — but they never stay around for long.

In fact, a few have already gone… including one that somehow ended up in my house 🤷‍♀️
