Well… last night wasn’t in the script!

England’s journey came to an end last night, but there’s still one more game to play and a World Cup winner to be crowned.

⚽ Spain vs Argentina – World Cup Final
Sunday | 8pm

Both matches will be shown live on our outdoor screens in the beer garden, with food, drinks and plenty of atmosphere as we round off a brilliant tournament.

We’re a family-run pub on Pershore High Street with a beautiful riverside garden, serving traditional Italian food, homemade stone-baked pizzas and a menu we’re constantly looking to improve.

This isn’t just a job filling a gap in a rota.

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about food, enjoys being part of a close-knit team and wants to help push our kitchen to the next level alongside our talented Head Chef.

🏆 WE’RE THROUGH TO THE WORLD CUP SEMI-FINALS! 🏆

England vs Argentina.
Wednesday. 8pm kick-off.

And yes… that means Messi is coming to The Star.

After another brilliant night of football, we’re ready to do it all again as England take on Argentina for a place in the World Cup Final.

🍔 Food served before kick-off
🍺 Pints pouring from the first whistle to the last

If the last few England games have taught us anything, it’s this: book early.

What a night. 🍻⚽️

A huge thank you to every single person who joined us for the football last night. The place was packed, the atmosphere was brilliant, and most importantly, everyone was in great spirits from start to finish.

No trouble. No drama. Just happy faces, plenty of singing, a few nervous moments, and a cracking crowd backing England all the way.

A massive shout out as well to our bar team who worked flat out all evening and kept the drinks flowing. We couldn’t do it without you.

And now… we’re through to the semi-finals. 🏆

We’ve now reached our seated capacity and are no longer taking bookings for the game.

The good news? There’s still plenty of room for walk-ins and standing space, so if you haven’t booked, don’t panic.

But we’re making a full evening of it…

🎶 6pm – Live music from Flat Tonic

🎤 8pm – England sing-along time. All the World Cup favourites, all the classics, and plenty of questionable football chants to get everyone in the mood.

⚽️ 10pm – England vs Norway live on our outdoor screens

Cold pints, great food, riverside views and hopefully another famous England night.

Round up your mates, get your tables booked and let’s see if England can take one more step towards bringing it home.
