Lovely friends , customers and visitors of Pershore.

What a great day it was celebrating the Plum Festival!

With the weather helping all the people who made the effort to participate, all the people who worked hard, making sure that everyone would have the best time, everything worked out fine in the end.

The queues were long everywhere people went, but people were patient enough, which is very important to all us businesses, either independent family run like we are, or part of a chain.

Here’s to many more festivals to come!
With lovely people like you the tiredness is worth it.

Freddo cappuccino!
Yes, this too is a Greek invention.

A little bit on the history side, Freddos were invented in Athens Greece, in the posh area of Kolonaki , Athens, around early 1990s .

The Greeks wanted to be able to enjoy an espresso coffee during the hotter months, so a certain cafe in Kolonaki started offering this version of cold coffee to its customers.
Very quick, more and more cafes added this new thing until it became a common drink everywhere in Greece.

With more Greeks making other countries their new home, and more cafes opening everywhere in the world, freddos are very easy to find in either Greek cafes or national ones.

For the record , Freddos, need a certain percentage of arabica and robusta beans, to get the right taste.

So, when you have a freddo cappuccino or a freddo espresso, you must Grab a real Greek one.

When Thiseas left Ariadni after their powerful romance ended to The Sporades island complex, god Dionysius fell in love with her from the first site.
They lived their lives together and Ariadni gave him 3 sons.
King Stafilos was the first person to habitat the land and his father god Dionysius gave him as gifts rich soil to grow vineyards and olive trees.
