🪴 A heartfelt update from The Greenhouse Café 🌿

It’s with mixed emotions that we share some unexpected news.

After months of pouring her heart into every coffee, Thai curry, and slice of cake served here at The Greenhouse Café, Krissy has been given notice by the site owners that they intend to terminate the lease, citing plans to bring the café under their own control as part of a wider site redevelopment.

We fully respect their right to do so, but that doesn’t take away from the deep sense of pride we feel for everything Krissy has poured into the café since day one. It’s never just been a business to her - it’s been a labour of love and a place to connect with the community.

We want to say a huge thank you to all our customers: whether you’ve popped in for a coffee, lingered over lunch, or simply offered kind words and encouragement along the way. Your support has meant the world and has made this little café feel like home.

Our final day of trading will be this Sunday 6th July, and we’d love nothing more than to serve you one last time before the doors close.

It may be the end of this particular chapter, but for those who know Krissy well, a new one is already on the horizon. 🌱

🌿 A Heartfelt Thank You from The Greenhouse Café 🌿

As many of you know, Krissy has been away in Thailand these past few weeks due to a family emergency. During this time, the Greenhouse Café has been kept going by an extraordinary group of friends who stepped in - taking it in turns to cook, serve and hold the fort.

We want to say a huge thank you to these amazing individuals. Your kindness, generosity, and community spirit have meant the world to us.💚

We also want to thank our wonderful customers for continuing to support the café during this time. Your patience and loyalty have not gone unnoticed, and we are incredibly grateful.

Krissy is landing back in the UK on Sunday morning and plans to be at the café from late morning onwards. She’s looking forward to reconnecting with you all - hearing how you’ve been, and welcoming your thoughts and feedback as we move forward.

Thank you again for being part of this special community. We’ll see you soon. ☕🌸
