The summer holidays are here!
We wanted to give an update on a few bits from us here at the Cafe and Mossel before the craziness kicks inβ
π The Count House Cafe
β° Opening Times
From today, we will be open 7 days from 9am - 5pm
In the event that this changes the best way to keep up to date is through our social media channels π
π₯ Breakfast Service
Breakfast is served daily from 9am - 11am & weekends are Breakfast Menu only - 9am - 3pm
Please be aware that during busier times we might need to shorten breakfast service slightly should we be at capacity.
We have a very small window to turn the kitchen for lunch service, so it's not always possible to just keep serving. We recommend that to be sure of getting food to be ready to order by 10.45am π
Weekends we aim to serve right through from 9am -3pm, with no break in service πͺ (depending on deliveries, this may change on occasion)
π Lunch Service
Lunch is served from 12 noon - 4pm, Monday - Friday.
Breakfast all day on Saturday & Sunday!
π Table Bookings & Reservations
The best, quickest and most accurate way to book a table is online. You can do this through Google (Google us and follow the link), through the link on our website homepage, or the DOJO app (from the app store)
By booking online you can choose the size of your party, add any dietary requirements/allergies and add notes.
You can also use the booking confirmation to alter/cancel your booking if you need to.
During the Summer holidays, we don't offer tables past 11.30am (for a 12 noon order). The sheer volume of guests we can see makes it difficult to reserve tables, especially during busier times.
Table bookings are open for breakfast service (morning) each day.
Please note, that requesting a window table is NOT a guarantee that you will get one unfortunately. We only have 4 window tables and trust me when I say EVERYONE asks for a window table!!
π Telephone
Our team will always do our best to answer the phone, however during service when we are very busy, it's quite difficult π
Please don't leave messages requesting table bookings, or to reserve pasties, we often don't pick these messages up until it's too late π«©
If you need to discuss group bookings or other items, the best way to get a hold of us is via email ([email protected]) or message us on our socials π
π Dogs
We are happy to welcome well behaved dogs on leads in the cafe, all year around.
We kindly ask that you are responsible for your dog and it's behaviour while in the cafe and ensure that it isnt causing issues for other guests.
Please do not leave any dog in your car while here on site π
π§βπΌ Table service & busier times
We offer table service all year around. We feel it adds a little something to your experience and our team love to meet you all π«
During busier times, please read/follow signage and the team to ensure that you get the best experience possible.
Our team work hard to get you seated and fed, during busier times there will be waits to be seated, served and fed, we all work hard to minimise these wait times, but sometimes they cannot be avoided.
Our team will let you know approximate wait times on arrival, feel free to ask them for advise if you need help π
π Count House Mossel
β° Opening Times
The Mossel will be open from Sunday 26th July - September 1st, Sunday - Friday (closed on Saturday's) from 11.30am - 2.30pm.
On days where there are lots of people on site, we may open the Mossel for longer π
π₯ Pasties
Pasties will be coming out of the oven at 11.30am (ish) each day π
They will be sold on a first come first served basis, however, if you would like to reserve a pasty to collect later on in the day, you can order and pay at the Mossel in advance.
There will be no pasties for sale in the cafe when the Mossel is open.
Unfortunately, food bought from the Mossel can't be eaten in the cafe, but there is outdoor seating at the Mossel and indoor seating if the weather isn't looking great just down from the Mossel π§οΈ
We look forward to welcoming guests both old and new to the Cafe and Mossel this summer π
