Good afternoon everyone!
It has been almost a year since we said goodbye. And what a year it has been… We certainly miss Maria Chica and all the amazing years we had in Pendeen. Every single one of you made those years that much better.
Life looks a bit different now.
Flor is still working as a chef, now at The Welloe in Praa Sands (working his magic in the kitchen) and I am now selling cars at MG in Hayle. So if you are looking for a car, or fancy coming down for a coffee 😊 that’s where we are!!

And this is it!
Maria Chica is now closed. We had the most amazing time living and working in the best village we could have asked for. Pendeen will definitely be in our hearts forever and we will cherish the memories made; loved every minute of it.
Thank you to each and every one of you for the support and friendship.

It is with a heavy heart that we announce that Maria Chica will be closing down on the 22nd of July 2023. We had the best time working and living in this amazing community. No words can express how lucky we feel to have met each and every one of you, and we will be forever grateful for the support we had all along.
We would like to give a special thanks to our amazing staff, we couldn't have done it without you!
We will leave Pendeen, but a piece of Pendeen will be with us always.
