To My Wonderful Senara Guests,
June has arrived… the sun is out, the days are stretching long and golden, and with it comes our final month of student service at Senara.
This is your invitation to savour it with us.

Our last lunchtime menu of the academic year is here—an evolving collection of beautifully crafted small plates, designed for lingering moments and shared experiences. Whether you’re gathering friends over a chilled bottle of wine, slipping away for a romantic midday indulgence with a cocktail in hand, or pausing for a refined yet relaxed lunch break, Senara offers something to tempt every appetite.
Expect vibrant vegetarian and vegan creations, elegant seafood, thoughtfully prepared meat dishes, and of course, a sweet finale with our signature crepes.

As the season closes, so too does this chapter for our talented students—it’s your last chance this year to experience their passion, creativity, and award-winning hospitality.

Our Level 3s have been working on designing their own signature dish, bringing together all the knowledge and skills they have developed during their time studying here. This event is now their time to showcase it!

Alongside our talented student team, they will deliver a powerful, story-driven six-course menu that highlights the real challenges faced across our industry.

Hospitality Action supports the people who power our industry — chefs, waiters, kitchen porters, housekeepers, and more — in times of crisis.
Shockingly, 0% of applications come from under-20s — the very demographic we are training every day.
This evening aims to change that.

Announcing our next takeover on Friday 15th May from 6.00pm.

This May, the team from Gidleigh Park is proud to partner with Penwith College at Senara Restaurant, bringing the expertise, heritage and standards of one of Britain’s most prestigious country house hotels to support and inspire the next generation of hospitality talent.

This special collaboration offers students a rare opportunity to learn directly from an acclaimed professional team, gaining invaluable insight, mentorship and hands-on experience, while guests enjoy a dining experience shaped by craftsmanship, seasonal provenance inspired by Dartmoor and exceptional gastronomy.

Students will lead a Gidleigh Park inspired service in both kitchen and restaurant offering a 3-course menu for just £40 per person and have the option to indulge in a wine flight to elevate their experience.

The team from Gidleigh park hold:
• A Michelin Star and 2 Michelin Keys
• 5* Accommodation (Inspectors choice – Red stars) and 3 AA Rosettes

Bookings for this event will be taken on a first-come, first served basis as we expect it to be extremely popular and demand to far outstrip supply.

As we head into our last week of service before the Easter break, we still have a handful of bookings available — and we’d love to welcome you in.

This is your final chance to enjoy our March menu, built around the very best of what’s coming through our doors right now:
• Local Hake and Cuttlefish landed fresh in Newlyn
• Steak and Venison from our local butcher
• Beautiful King Oyster Mushrooms being the focal point of our Vegan dish
• Three‑Cornered Leek, foraged right here on our own campus
