Last week our team completed their Intermediate Barista qualifications w/ . We discussed the science of coffee extraction and common faults, compared alternative milks, drank ‘s current beer fermented coffee and took the opportunity for another pizza outing. Culminating in several exams (practical and written) we’re super chuffed they passed with flying colours. We’re looking forward to utilising their skills to start mixing up our coffee offering over the coming year 👀

We’re back open tomorrow (Tuesday 23rd) and Christmas Eve for coffee, sustenance, treats and pre-order collections, before closing for a post-Christmas break.
We’ve got Christmas blend on espresso, our favourite Christmas songs on the stereo, plenty of mince pies plus all the usual sandwiches, cookies and good cheer. A Christmas biscuit or two might even make an appearance and the shelves are stocked with wine, fizz and a last minute delivery.
If we don’t see you before, have a wonderful Christmas from all of us here at Roundhouse. Thank you for all your support over the last 12 months and look forward to seeing you in 2026 💫

We’re finalising our pre-orders for Christmas bakes. If you still want to order but haven’t done so yet, now is the time. Tuesday 23rd is fully booked, with some availability for Christmas Eve and a bit more flexibility over the next few days.

From today forth, til Christmas we’ll have mince pies on the counter. Every day. Don’t wait, because they won’t hang about.
Still a bit of time to pre-order bakes for Christmas though, pop us a DM or email ([email protected]).
We’ll be taking a short break after Christmas, back open early in the new year.

Pre-orders are now open for our Christmas baked goods - whole tarts; mince pies; cookie dough ready to bake-at-home, Cropwell Bishop’s deliciously creamy, soft blue Beauvale cheese; focaccia; wines and a whole lot more besides.

Roast squash, sage brown butter and ricotta focaccia sandwich. Quincemeat production in full swing. Weekend scone baking. Poached quince galettes

Hot chocolate now available with XXL marshmallows (made in house, of course). And galettes from the weekend - spiced poached pear crumble & brown sugar custard. On again this coming Saturday.
