Oh Golowan. Oh Mazey. Another fantastic day. Old friends and new friends. Learning I'm called 'The Pimms Lady' to the GREATEST bunch of young people from Swansea. Being told 'we love your place because it feels like home'. Family and 'customers who became friends' offering to help when we got busy. My AMAZING family and Carmen in the back making all the delicious food. My amazing staff organising me and working their socks off.
And now, on the sofa with my 'cover' over my head (yes...I'm 55 with a security blanket...) ABSOLUTELY KNACKERED...BUT IT WAS WORTH IT!

Thursday and we are open BUT WE WE BE SHUTTING for a while in the heat of the day. Its just too hot behind the bar with the coffee machine and fridges kicking out heat, and let's not mention the kitchen!

So, we will be open at 10 till 12ish then shut, then opening again from 3ish till 7.30.

So, in an attempt to get cool, I've made Pimms and Fruit Jelly, served with Clotted Cream, and we have homemade ice cream! A Banana and Choc Cake too.

Today we are OPEN until it becomes unbearable for me and Jenna; safety first!

We have a cooling Salad Bowl with 3 Bean Salad, Mint and Vegatable Couscous and green leaves, Tomato and Red Pepper Soup to enjoy hot or cold with warm Focaccia Bread, Toasties, Cake and more!

Monday and I baked these beauts this morning! Will you have a Cheese Scone with Cheese and Chutney or a Plain Scone with Clotted Cream and Strawberry Jam? I also made Slow Roasted Tomato and Red Pepper Soup to enjoy hot or cold with warm Focaccia Bread. We have Asparagus and Goats Cheese Tarts to eat with Salad and OBVIOUSLY our Toasties!
