🍳 BREAKFAST SEASON IS BACK, AND IT'S NEVER LOOKED SO GOOD 🍂

Okay, we know it's been a while since we talked about breakfast... but hear us out, because right now, in early October? The views at both our cafes are ABSOLUTELY stunning.

Think golden autumn light rippling across Falmouth Bay from our Quarryside veranda, or the lily ponds at Penrose Watergarden turning those gorgeous russet and amber tones that only October brings. There is genuinely no better time of year to pull up a chair, wrap your hands around a freshly brewed Olfactory Coffee Roasters, and tuck into a proper breakfast.

We're talking traditional breakfast your way — regular, large, or go full MEGA if the appetite is there 😅 — avocado on toast, beans on toast, French toast, pancakes... you name it, we've got it. Everything made fresh, everything made with love, with coffee roasted just down the road in Penryn.

This is your sign to make Saturday morning count. Whether you're joining us up in the quarry at Halvasso with those sweeping coastal views, or tucked in among the lily ponds near Truro, we promise it is WORTH IT.

Our mobile coffee units have just passed their food hygiene inspection and held that 5-star rating — which means The Cornish Barista continues to have 5 stars across the WHOLE business! 🎉

The mobile van. Quarryside Cafe. Penrose Water gardens too. ALL of them. 🙌

This is the result of a team that genuinely works hard! And cares about every detail — from the way we store our locally sourced ingredients to every hand-baked treat we put out. Whether we're parked up at a festival or serving breakfast beside the lily ponds - the standard never drops. A massive thank you to every member of our team. The environmental health officer turning up is never something you look forward too, they have just an hour to judge everything we know and everything we do, but another 5 star rating recognises the experience, knowledge and process that our team demonstrate and use every single day!

Right, so I'm going to be honest with you - I don't usually spend much time in the kitchen... mainly because I can't have a proper natter in there, and that drives me ABSOLUTELY mad 😄

But every now and again I get stuck, so of course you have to make the best and have a little play, and this was one of those days!

Made these fishcakes with my own fair hands, and I am NOT going to lie, I'm pretty chuffed with myself 😂

They've absolutely FLOWN out - which either means they were genuinely delicious, or everyone just felt too sorry for me to say otherwise. I'll take either!

What a truly awesome day!! It was a privilege to be just a small part in breaking a whilst raising money for 🫶🏻 you all kept us busy steaming away and tea until it was time to head inside for it done only the right way to then go back at it again after!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!
