Slow Motion Cowboys (out of New Orleans, USA) are back in the UK to perform the finest alt/country gems. Their 5th record " Wolf of St Elmo" released in 2025 on Muscle Shoals' label Akram Records reached critical acclaim with 9/10 in Uncut Magazine, comparing it to Desire-era Dylan and Drive-By Truckers. They return with their new 7" split of road worn Americana. FFO: The Deslondes, Michael Hurley, Neil Young

This electronic music workshop for 13-17 year olds starts TOMORROW at 2.30pm - after honing your skills in the workshop, attendees will then take part in a live performance at 6.30pm (free entry)

In this hands-on session by arts organisation Moogie Wonderland, participants will find out how to make sounds and music using exciting electronic instruments such as modular synthesisers and drum machines. They will then create pieces of music as a group, which they will perform during a short concert in the evening. The session is led by the team behind Cornwall Youth Noise Orchestra and is designed to be calm, supportive and exploratory - no prior knowledge or musical experience is needed.

A special treat for all you songwriters!

A unique opportunity to enhance your songwriting skills with Pete Fields, songwriter and creative force behind the New Orleans-based Country band Slow Motion Cowboys.
In this workshop Pete seeks to de mystify the songwriting process by helping people find their own voice to express themselves and their experience with the world around them. You can bring any instrument of your choosing.

Petes songs have been covered by the likes of Margo Cilker and Alabamas’ Pine Hill Saints. He has taught songwriting workshops alongside legends Aimee Mann and Ted Leo and licensed songs to major independent films. With his roots in California, he is highly influenced by the folk rockers of the 60’s and 70’s, though his songs often sidestep tradition in favour of his own original mystical approach influenced by the local bohemians in New Orleans. Uncut magazine awarded Slow Motion Cowboys’ 2025 album Wolf of Saint Elmo a glowing 9/10 review. The publication praised the release as a “ wonderful throwback to early 2000s Americana; languid country with a cosmic backwash that underlies plaintive songs about loss and heartache but always with an undercurrent of hope.’

we're really looking forward to SATURDAY when Iko Chérie will be coming down from London to play for us!

The solo project of French-born, London-based multi-instrumentalist Marie Merlet. She blends dub-inflected textures, pop tinged vocals, reverb- drenched guitars, Casio drones, and warm experimental noises – creating her own intimate, fragile sound. Merlet has long moved between different worlds of sound. She has worked with Laetitia Sadier in Monade, performs with Gina Birch (The Raincoats), Malphino, Yama Warashi, and several other groups. She recently appeared as guest singer on the latest Stereolab album. Her new album "Soft Centre" is now out on Pingipung
