Located on the edge of the Lake District National Park in the small village of Tirril, close to Penrith and a stones throw from Ullswater, the Queen’s Head Inn is a quintessential traditional country pub. Dating back to the early 18th century, the pub is brimming with period features, including roaring log fires, thick and crooked stone walls, exposed beams, and the original flagstone floors. The

bar features open fires, free wifi and a relaxing ambiance which welcomes both dogs and children. On better days, enjoy our pleasant outside tables both in our front garden and our covered outdoor terrace with heaters for those late nights. Our pub boasts 7 newly refurbished, pet friendly, en suite rooms. Call us or pop in and say hello!
