Yesterday was our last shift, and what a few weeks it has been!

It has been so lovely seeing so many familiar faces coming through the door to have their last meals with us. Every visit, kind word and “all the best” has meant more to us than we can put into words.

We are completely overwhelmed by all the cards, gifts, messages and kind words of support we’ve received. We honestly never expected such an outpouring of love, and we are incredibly grateful to every single person who has taken the time to say goodbye.

Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for everything.

A little announcement from us …❤️

After many years of serving our wonderful customers, we have some bittersweet news to share.

The Little Chippy has now been sold, and our last working day will be Thursday 24th September.
We want to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to every single one of our customers for your support, custom, conversations, laughs and loyalty over the years. It truly has meant so much to us, and we are incredibly grateful to have had such amazing customers.

We would absolutely love to see as many of you as possible one last time before we finish, so please come in, say goodbye and enjoy your favourite chippy while you can! 🥰🍟

Just a little note for our final week. We’ll be running our stock down, so our menu will be smaller than usual and some items may become unavailable as the week goes on. We hope you’ll understand that we’re doing our best to manage stock during our final days.
Thursday 24th September will be our final day.

Thank you again for everything. We really hope to see you all before we go!

We will be closed this Saturday 25th & Sunday 26th July for a family celebration. We’ll be back open as usual Wednesday the 29th.

The rumours are true!

The Little Chippy is officially on the market! After 36 wonderful years of serving this community, we’ve decided to move on to our next chapter - Retirement! 😊

Reading your kind messages has been overwhelming. From the Friday night rushes to seeing families grow up over the years, it’s been an absolute joy.

We’re still open for business as usual until a buyer is found, so please keep popping in!
We’d love to see you all for a few more servings of fish and chips before our retirement!
