*IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT*
Unfortunately it’s become clear over the last few months that our time at The Drove is coming to a close. Times are increasingly hard for pubs and with rising costs all around we can no longer see a way to make our vision for The Drove a reality anymore. We want to keep the pub open for as long as we can and will try to stay on until someone else takes over but we don’t know how long that will be at the moment. The first step to this transition will be to close the kitchen as of today and only run the bar from now on as food waste is a real issue.
We’ve had some amazing times at the pub, our boys have grown up here and we will treasure so many memories. Great Salkeld is a very special village and we are so grateful to everyone who has supported us.
