I have started the Spicebox following my passion of cooking and desire to bring to you authentic Indian food.

The meals have been carefully curated using ancient Indian recipes and fresh ingredients. We serve three course dinner for two every alternate weekends. Dinner for two is priced at £45 and includes two starters, two main dishes, rice or roti and pudding. Everything is home made including the spice blends, pickles and chutneys.

The perfect chicken curry, smoky, tangy from tomatoes, juicy from the chicken and buttery from the butter….doesn’t get better than this. Available to order this Friday 21st October for delivery in and around Hazlemere.

For the vegetarians like me our veggie koftas in a spicy creamy sauce are divine and I think better! As always get in touch to order.

‘Rohini delivered a lovely lamb dish and added the egg dish for us to try. Gluten free is a bonus for me and nice to know the food was safe for me to eat. Punctually arrived and well packaged. If you haven't done so yet, give it a try. A treat not to be cooking myself.’

‘Yes we loved the food thank you, the starters were lovely especially the fish (can I ask what you used) the main was fantastic with the breads and rice, star of the show was the vegetable curry yum. The sweet was great too lovely subtle flavours, thanks again for cooking such a lovely meal

Thank you Rohini for the delicious food on Saturday. Ate it all that night. Wasn't spicy, at least for me 🙂. Loved the black-eyed beans, cucumber and chicken, the brown rice was perfect for this dish in my opinion. Wasn't sure about the potatoes but that was probably because I'm not a great fan of mustard. The meat was tender and melted in your mouth. Just paid into your account. ###

Last of our gluten free fundraising menus to support the fight against COVID in India where we are matching all sales. The dishes are naturally gluten free and not simply gluten free versions of something. Featuring a very special lost recipe of central India, depicted as ‘food of gods’ a five- lentil dish they say was made for Lord Indra, who blessed the land with rain upon being offered this food. I am sure you are aware about the dire coronavirus situation in India. At Spicebox we have decided to contribute to the fight against the pandemic. For the four weeks in May 2021 we are launching our first ever food fest- Flavours from Central India - and will be donating our entire sales from the meals to one Corona fight in India. My husband and I have also decided to match all sales pound for pound to boost our contribution.

As a first generation Indian immigrant family we have experienced losses of loved ones and the pain of being away from our family for a long time. It has been hard but we have been immensely supported by our friends in the UK, particularly Badger Way who get a special spot in the collection of meals! Love you all!

This unique collection of meals is inspired by the small towns in central India, the homes of modern royalties where all my cousins and family still live- my dear cousins these meals are also dedicated to you all and the fantastic holidays we have had over the years!

My earnest and sincere request to you all in and around Hazlemere is be experimentative and brave in trying these flavours, you will not be disappointed! Look out for our entire collection of meals for May coming this weekend! There is something for everyone, meat, veg, gluten free, afternoon tea, brunch and our signature three course luxury meal box- but all goes towards a common cause, India stay strong, we are with you!
