Our daughter’s partner, Reuben, and his friends are taking part in a charity event over the weekend in Tenby. They sadly lost two friends to cancer during their last years of comp. They are rising money for a couple of different charities . I know they would be so grateful for any support that can be given, it doesn’t matter how big or small . Thank you so much xx

Absolutely gutted to be sharing this news.

On Wednesday we received sad news I didn’t think I’d be sharing.
This man, Richard Lyth , my mentor, my chef sadly passed away.
Truly gutted 💔
The word Mentor - experienced, trusted advisor who teaches a lesser experienced person to develop skills and gain knowledge to help develop their career.
To me - a role model, a dad like character, a teacher, an ear, full of comfort, supportive, a friend and a true mentor in every sense of the word.
Sometimes we never give enough gratitude to the people who helped mold us…………
I can’t thank this man enough, with passion and an iron rod he taught me to believe in the process, embrace the kitchen life and push with all my heart. Be a sponge, enjoy the ever evolving industry and Keep true to myself and what I believe in. He helped shape my future.
Thank you seems so insignificant.
To kirsteen, Hannah and Chloe we’re so sorry for your loss. Taken too soon but will always be close to our hearts and his memory will definitely live on.
