Words can’t describe how grateful I am to each and every one of you. Especially the most recent donation of a massive £600. That’s put me well over the target. Special Thank you to Amanda Mcsparron who donated in memory of her Dad David Dunsmure who was cared for on the ward. We’ve done it! ❤️❤️❤️

I also had the absolute pleasure of sending not 3 air con units but 4 to the Palliative Care Ward at Ashington. Meeting some of the staff and seeing first hand how extremely hot the ward is… you’ve all given them a little more comfort working in a very challenging unit.

Also we got such a great deal from www.ecatering.co.uk that we’ve got some money left over. This will be donated to the ward for them to use it as they wish.

Faith in humanity has well and truly been restored. Thanks again.

I’m absolutely overwhelmed at everyone’s generosity today……. Nearly shed a tear when I looked at the total raised so far. I can’t thank you all enough…… a little bit of cool comfort goes a long for the Staff who work so hard under extreme pressure at times and also the patients who are having some of the darkest days of their entire lives. ❤️🙏🏼

I’m asking for help……. Not sure whether you know but the better half Donna is a Palliative care Nurse at Wansbeck hospital….. with the heat wave coming up I’d like to raise funds for 3 mobile air con unit for the ward. It’s unbearably hot at the best of times but especially with the heat wave coming up…..

I’d like to purchase 3 of these air con units for the staff and patients…..

I’m looking for people/businesses to donate anything…

I’m going to start the fund with £200 from Scott’s Dinky Donuts…..

I’ve added a picture of the unit I’m wanting to purchase.
