❤️We've listen to feedback and are now ready to open the Stables bar. There'll be cocktails, wines and local beers.

For the summer we'll open as follows:

- Mondays and Tuesdays: 5pm - 9pm, snacks available as well!!!

- Wednesdays and Thursdays: 4pm - 9pm, full food menu available

- Fridays and Saturdays: 12 noon - 9pm, full food menu available;

- Sundays: 12 noon - 7pm, Sunday lunch menu available.

For the winter we'll revisit the hours or even the idea of it being open, but we hope this right here is a good start.

So, if your dog will ever want a beer, or a glass of bubbles, you'll know where to bring them, after the walk.

A like and share will mean the world to us, to let people know that we're opening The Stables.

And stay tuned, there's even bigger news coming shortly!

The Head Chef, "Frenchie" and Florin having a fabulous afternoon trying wines and food, just so you, our customers, have shortly an even better wine choice than were currently offer.

We met some passionate wine makers, heard stories that changed lives, and drank wine that changed our view on everything instantly 🤣

Thank you very much to James Scrimgeour from Enotria wines for the invite, and to Blackfriars Restaurant for hosting such a good day for the industry.
Everyone left richer in spirit and knowledge after the wine tasting.

Pistachio and white chocolate Mille-Feuille, layers of sweetened puff pastry, filled with pistachio crème patisserie and white chocolate cremeux. Served with caramelised white chocolate shards and pistachio ice cream. One of the desserts on the new menu which is live now!! Remember to always leave room for dessert.

- Is it the daily specials you ask about?
Today we have a pan fried trout with shrimp sambal

- Is it the talent and passion the Chef puts in to our dishes?
His game and pistachio terrine with home made pickles is one of our guests' favourites

- Is it a good time that you share with friends?
Our friendly staff are always there to serve you with a smile, be it in the restaurant, or on the terrace.

The sun is out, and the Stables bar opens again from tomorrow, for the weekend.

❤️ So, the first day is not yet finished, but i feel grateful already:

- to the staff, who helped me yesterday up until late evening to set it all up. There's more staff than this that helped, but these were the lucky ones to have a selfie with me 🤣

- to some familiar faces, and to some first time customers that came in today;

- to Crosbys Catering Newcastle that went out of their way to deliver the water jugs, salt and pepper mills and the glassware that i know all you love;

- the Chef, whose breakfast a few days ago and chicken today were outstanding

Restaurant week is in full swing and we're busy on Friday, fully booked in the evening actually.

🕗 Full‑time | 8:00–4:45 | 5 days a week
✔ Includes Saturdays
✔ One weekday off + Sunday off

What we need:
• Supervisor experience
• Food environment background
• Level 2 Food Safety (we’ll provide training if needed)
• Confident driving sales and leading a team
• Able to work independently and support others
• Excellent customer service skills

Your role:
• Keeping the shop fully stocked
• Ordering, cleaning, and quality checks
• Cash handling, cashing up & daily paperwork
• Delivering the warm, friendly service we’re known for
