this is NOT a drill. we have 11 days left serving here at , including today!

and to celebrate, we’re doing souvlakipalooza. just souvlaki wraps and plates, all day long, lunch and dinner.

What started as a little idea, a few days a week and a lot of trips to the shops for emergency onions, became our life for the last two and a half years.

It doesn’t sound that long, but it’s the hardest, most challenging thing we’ve ever done.

Starting a business selling something you care about deeply is emotionally draining, even more so in the current climate, where this industry is absolutely not set up for small businesses to thrive, let alone survive.

We are closing our doors here at our current pop-up spot in

It might be forever, it might be until some mystery millionaire turns up to bankroll our little brand!

Either way, we are so proud of Messy Mary, all the different versions of her.

introducing the first of our new evening dishes

we’re repurposing the beautiful mastelo cheese from our souvlaki wraps, and serving it up with not one, but two homemade jams. firstly a hot tomato and chilli number, as well as a ridiculous kalamata olive jam 🫒

we love the cheese we get from , its perfect for grilling and shallow frying, and has such a distinct buttery, nutty flavour. plus we love buying genuinely Greek products 💙

we are back to regular programming OTHER THAN THIS SATURDAY THE 13TH when we’ll be closing at 8pm

opening times reminder:

weds: lunch only 12-4
thurs/fri/sat: lunch 12-4, dinner 6-9
sun: lunch only 12-4

we’ve been a little bit quiet on here, honestly, because we’re exhaaaaaausted

as we never let you forget, there’s only two of us running this show and after an amazingly busy start at , we’re taking a much needed break and returning to the mother land 🇬🇷

kitchen will be closed for a few weeks, but keep an eye on socials which will let you know of any food offerings while we’re away!

come by this week for your last souvlaki until the 11th of September 💔 🌯
