Very excited to share that Sean at No.11 has decided to continue our longstanding tradition of hosting Macmillan Cancer Support coffee mornings! SAVE THE DATE: Friday 25th September from 8am ❤️
We used to run these events from our old restaurant site, and this year would have marked the 10 year anniversary of us starting them! What a lovely touch that he’s so passionate about keeping the tradition alive in the space, and hosting them for the community. We wish him the best of luck on his first one - and I can’t wait to attend and show our support. Hope to catch up with lots of familiar faces there too.
The batton has officially been passed on - go get em Sean! ❤️

Many people will be aware that the 25th September is the national coffee morning for MacMillan Cancer Support.

In recent years No. 11 under its previous guise has hosted some very successful coffee mornings and raised substantial amounts of money. I would dearly love to continue this fine tradition.

Cancer is a disease that has affected most people’s lives whether as a sufferer or a family member / friend of a sufferer. It is a dreadful disease. MacMillan provides invaluable care, support, guidance and advice to everyone affected by cancer. They are real heroes.

Friday 25th September will be our first (I hope of many) coffee morning.

We will provide tea, coffee & the cakes.

All we ask is that guests on the morning whether staying & sitting with us or having their coffee and cake to go, leave a donation, 100% of which will go to MacMillan.

I would love to see as many of you as possible to support such a magnificent charity doing vital work at the times when people are often at their lowest ebb.

Feel free to come, all are welcome! Whether you have dined at No.11 before or not. Our team would love to meet and welcome you to help make this MacMillan Cancer Support Coffee Morning, Pangbourne’s best and most successful yet.

MEADOWSIDE UPDATE - We will be OPEN this Saturday and Sunday, and we expect next weekend also if the weather holds. ❤️
We will remain CLOSED all midweek days from now on, as the more variable weather we’re having partnered with school return, means there is less demand on the meadows mid-week.
So another few chances to get your whippo fix on weekends.
Deli open 7 days a week as always.

IMPORTANT NEWS ON OUR POP-UP
📌 Pizza is ON today, Friday and Saturday. Collection at the airstream as always (unless we announce the airstream is closed due to bad weather.)
📌 We think Friday - tomorrow - we’ll be closed, but definitely planning on opening this coming Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, as there is little / no rain forecast
📌 This may be our last few days of pizza takeaway until we rearrange things, so fill your boots whilst you can!!
📌 As autumn has rolled in rather quickly now, we suspect that our pop-up will finish it’s season within the next week or so, so the coming days may be the last chance to enjoy a coffee / whippo with us on the meadows. Please do keep checking socials where we will post to update when our last trading day is
📌 Remember, we are keen to continue giving it a good go- but if the forecast lies to us then we may have to close up when we otherwise said we’d be open!

Massive thanks as ever to everyone who has used the spot, and supported us. Come and see us across the next 4/5 days to enjoy an end of season Whippo or Pizza! ❤️❤️

Sadly the airstream will be closed this weekend with all the rain. 🌧️

We will be back on Monday when the heavens stop pouring.

The airstream is closed today given the rain all day but we are open in the deli with pizza takeaway available from 5:30pm (collection from deli). Just call 07549010410 to order your favourite pizzas tonight. Nino is away this weekend with no signal so we are taking over. Time to party!!! 🥳 🎉🍾

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT- We’ve made the tough and annoying decision that today the airstream will actually be CLOSED (despite my optimistic post just yesterday evening confirming it was going to be open… 🤦🏻‍♂️ sorry gang, I got it wrong.)
BUT pizza takeaway service will go ahead with the collection point being the DELI instead.

We’ve been open pretty much 7 days a week at the meadows with all the dry weather we’ve had, and I wanted to believe that the weather might not be as bad as forecast. But in reality we’re quite sure that with this rain, the meadows will be sodden and very quiet.

We will do another post and regular updates on stories with POA for the rest of the bank holiday weekend. In any case, rest assured that pizza will continue via the deli even if we decide to keep the airstream closed!

Sorry once again everyone for the misleading post yesterday, and if you had made plans to come visit us at the meadows 💔 you can still find us all day at the deli for coffee, gelato and much much more! The team will be bringing all the sunshine you’ll need. ☀️

Open every day this bank holiday folks - and this may be one of the final weekends of pizza takeaway FYI! So come and see us for Thursday, Friday, or Saturday night pizzas ❤️
Will update shortly on how much September we do- with any luck, if the weather holds and demand stays fairly busy, we should do a handful of additional weeks!

CLOSED AT THE MEADOWS TODAY - sorry folks, but for the first time in over a month and a half we’re forecast plenty of rain, so we shan’t be opening today. I don’t think there’ll be many sunbathers out there!
HOWEVER- Pizza takeaway continues this evening, and for 1 night only our collection point will be from The Deli. So even shorter distance to walk for all you locals who do Thursday pizzas. Give us a call on the usual number to order, and we’ll look after you!
The plants will be happy today at least ❤️
