Kirroughtree Forest Café We are a cafe situated in the middle of Galloway Forest at the foot of one of the 7stanes mountain bike trails with 4 different way marked trails.

We also have 4 different walking trails all which are way marked. Great day out for everyone.

***UPDATE***

The Cafe at Kirroughtree has power.
SP Energy sorted a generator. However limited menu due to the supply.
We will be open as per usual. 10.30- 3.30pm.

Dear Customers,

Kirroughtree Forest Café will be closed tomorrow Wednesday 25th February 2026 due to a planned power cut whilst work is being carried out by SP Energy Network.
However if we do get a generator from SP Energy we will be open.
This message will be updated if that’s the case.

Due to amber weather warning tomorrow Sunday 14th Kirroughtree Forest Cafe will be closed. This is to keep staff & customers safe and out of the forest.
