Last Sunday we held another great whisky tasting with local people and members of Aqvavitae founded by Roy Duff from Glasgow.
Denise and I are ever so proud of what have achieved in help this particular Benevolent Society Scotland charity chosen by our host Jenny Karlsson from Adelphi/Ardnamurchan Distillery.
Hellen and Andy Widdowson from Campbeltown done a stellar job of raising money with their utter unique Drambola and sorting out the sale of raffle tickets and prizes.
We also had members who travelled from Edinburgh and as far as London to support such a great event.
And special shout out to our friend David Barns who helped out with waitering duties and supporting both Rebecca and Rae to clearing glasses and topping up the water jugs.
Our dear friend Derek Ross of Abbey Services Scotland who was a previous landlord made a massive donation for the charity and was greatly appreciated by all attendees.
We at Kwang Tung with the help of our brothers Eddie, Jake and chef Kevin, made a great donation towards the charity boasting the total amount raised on the evening to £1160.
Denise and I would like to express our sincere thanks to everyone who has supported us and our whisky tasting events helping out various charities along the road.
