For anybody who has been following Craig Ferguson Scotland & Travel and his Tartan Trek - he has now raised almost £1.1 MILLION and has just completed his final walk in to Boston! Walking the length of America in the last few months, with our lovely regular customer Matthew as his right hand man.

We have been running a raffle in the cafe this week, to help raise funds to contribute to Craig's fundraiser, which is ALL going directly to SAMH, supporting Scottish mental health.

We are raffling off a Scottish themed hamper basket, filled with Scottish treats and two week keepsake gifts in.

Tickets are just £1 and is being drawn by Matthews wonderful Grandpa, Tommy tomorrow at lunchtime.

If anybody would like a ticket, please message/pay before 12pm tomorrow (Sat 13th June 12pm)

Tickets can be paid in cash in the cafe, or transferred online. Tickets will only be counted after being paid for.

Every single £ raised from this is going directly to Craig's fundraiser.

A HUGE well done to Craig & Matthew from all of us at Food At Underwood 👏🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿👏🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿👏🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

What an incredible thing Craig is doing, with his best friend Matthew being his right hand man the whole way across the USA🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇺🇲

So, so many people are affected in their lifetime with mental health, and this challenge is helping to raise so much awareness, but every single £ raised, helps SAMH charity continue their work.

If anybody can spare any pennies at all to donate to their cause, it would be amazing!

Matthew and his whole family are amazing, valued customers of ours and we rarely go a day without seeing one of the family, which is always our pleasure!!! ❤️

A BLT + old school sponge is waiting for you on your return Matthew 👏

LOCAL BUSINESSES BE AWARE!!!!!!!

Happened today on Underwood Road around the back of 2pm.

Today, this character came in asking me to swap his change for a £10 note. I told him I would but would be counting it first ( as change is always welcome!)

He pours his jar of change out and I start counting it, while he tries telling me his story that he's been made homeless today and kicked out straight away (I'm only half listening as I was counting), then say to him that I've already counted £10, and am still counting, while he takes another £5 in coins out of his plastic carrier bag. While I keep counting, I noticed a wee sugar sachet wrapper in amongst the change and it made my instinct say this has come from another cafe, so I look up and he's got his left hand IN OUR STAFF'S TIP JAR 😡😡😡😡 with the lid fully off, bold as brass!!!

I told him absolutely not, take his change and get out straight away and said it's disgusting, don't do that to anybody. He still asked me to change it but I told him to get out.

It turns out it's the same man who also tried to steal some stock off our display fridge last week, and somebody with him last week, tried to scam us for getting his change back twice.

Came on Facebook to update our page to share awareness for other local businesses, and then saw this picture so he is obviously doing the rounds 😡

Disgusting behaviour.
