It was a very busy Saturday when two lovely ladies came in and told me they had seen me in the newspaper!

I was like… “Newspaper? Which newspaper?”

“It’s the Sunday Post! From two weeks ago!”

Then they took out a little article they had cut out and brought it all the way from Edinburgh to show me.

“Here, I brought it for you. You keep it.”

Honestly… I was speechless. 🥹❤️

I’ve been thinking about this little moment ever since.

Laura… I honestly don’t know how to thank you. ❤️

From the very first time you came to Who’s Cafe, you have always supported us in your own little ways.

I have noticed and treasured every single one of those things.

And then, quietly, without me even knowing, you did this for us too.

You probably don’t realise how deeply that touched my heart.❤️ 🥺

And to all of you who always go the extra mile to support our little cafe — in your own little ways, we may not always see everything you do, but please know that we feel it.

My mouth was DEFINITELY Bigger than my eyes! 😂🙈

Watching this video back… my mind just went completely Blank!😂 I was so Happy, I honestly didn’t even know what I was talking about! 😂 But I’m just being me, doing what I love and doing things my own way. ❤️

Firstly, a massive thank you to Paisley First for this very special award. It’s a real honour for us.

And to our amazing team, especially everyone working so hard in the kitchen, and every single one of our lovely customers —thank you for all your love, kindness and support.

🌙 Sometimes inspiration doesn’t come from a recipe.

It comes from a memory.

We’ve had such lovely feedback on the Midsummer Night Caesar these past few days.

Some find it really interesting. Some say there are so many flavours happening at once, almost like they’re dancing together.

But of course, everyone tastes things differently❤️

Some of you have asked me, “Ellen, you already have an amazing 5-Star Salad, so why create another Caesar?”

It’s actually quite a long story — probably too long to tell you while I’m serving you at the café😂

One day, I told Ivan I fancied a Caesar — but I wanted something that could work for our customers too.

One of our customers doesn’t eat meat, but she can eat fish.

So I asked Ivan, “Can you create something around that?”

And, of course, he started creating💪🏻

If you’ve ever brought your little ones to Who’s Cafe, you might remember me asking them about their favourite stories.

I loved storybooks when I was little too — and I’ve always been a bit of a Shakespeare fanatic. ❤️

Some stories simply stay with us. Sometimes, years later, one of them suddenly comes back.

And somehow, that little memory found its way onto a plate.

Something light. Something playful. Something a little unexpected.

Midsummer Night Caesar. 🌙

A few of you have also asked how long it will be around.

We honestly don’t know yet. It’s summer, after all☀️

One customer simply said to me,

“Mother Nature will tell you.” 🌿
