We are sad to say that we will not be opening for the rest of the month, as we had originally planned. Unfortunately the shop has been so quiet and everyday that we open, costs more in electric/bills than we actually take each day.
We are hoping to open the shop up again with our new business venture, QuickShift Torbay at the beginning of September. We will keep several tables, coffee machine and a smaller selection of homemade cakes for you to enjoy, as well as our quality secondhand furniture.
We will still continue with orders for our cakes, occasion cakes and cream teas! Please message to discuss your requirements.
We thank you all again for your support these past 3 years and look forward to building our future!

Unfortunately after hobbling around the shop today, I will actually listen to doctors orders and rest my leg tomorrow. Therefore I will be forced to close for the day tomorrow but will be open again on Thursday at 8am with Mum's help!

We will be opening at 9am this morning. Unfortunately spent 4 ½ hours in minor injuries yesterday as I've badly sprained my ankle and sadly haven't a rush in me, as hobbling around in lots of pain!

This is a hard write but sadly has to be done!

Myself and Freddi would like to thank you all for your love and support over the past 3 and a bit years. Unfortunately though, we will be closing on Saturday 29th August. Business as usual until then!
Its been a fun few years and have enjoyed every minute. We've met some wonderful people, some that we consider extended family members and we will miss you all.

As you know I've been running the shop on my own recently which if im honest I'm struggling with. It's too busy to do everything alone, baking, serving, paperwork, temperature checks, cake orders and cleaning everything and everywhere but although we are busy at times, its not busy enough for myself and Freddi 😭

Exciting news though and know quite a few of you are already aware of this, myself, Kerry will be keeping the shop but starting a house & garden clearance and rubbish removal business with my Husband, Paul (yes we managed to work things out between us and are back together).
We will be selling quality furniture from the shop from the 31st August and the good news is, we will be keeping the coffee machine, a few tables and chairs and baking some cakes and scones still!!
If the doors are open you'd be most welcome to pop in, have a nose and I would love to see you and have a cuppa and chat!

I will also still be taking buffet orders, occasion cake orders and able to deliver our homemade naughties (cakes, cream teas, brownies etc to your door)

I hope this doesn't mean goodbye to everyone as like I have already said, I will miss you all and would love to keep in touch.

I do hope you can show your support to our new business venture "QuickShift Torbay" and like our new page!
