Happy National Fish & Chip Day! 🐟🍟

For over 50 years, we've been championing the very best of British fish - and yet so many incredible species never make it onto your plate. That's something we want to change.

This summer, every Friday throughout June and July, we're championing the brilliant, forgotten fish of our coastline. Coley, pollack, wrasse, whiting - seasonal, abundant, and absolutely delicious. 🐟 Battered and fried with all the classics you'd expect.

It's our Forgotten Fish Fridays campaign, and it starts today.

For every Forgotten Fish and Chips sold at participating restaurants, we’ll donate £1 to Fishermen’s Mission, helping provide practical, emotional and financial support to fishing families around the UK.

Cod can wait. Come and discover what you've been missing 🌊

June is a busy one across our restaurants 🗓️

2nd June | Road to Mexico Supper Club | Rick Stein's Café | 6:30pm
Head Chef Aarran hosts a five-course evening inspired by Rick's Road to Mexico - think baked crab with chilli and coriander, tacos with roasted salsa and pineapple and a welcome glass of wine. Relaxed dining, good company.

9th June | Cooking with Jack Stein | Cookery School | 9:30am
Spend the day cooking with Jack from his debut book World on a Plate - dishes shaped by his travels and his love of British produce, with the stories to match.

10th June | Venice to Istanbul Supper Club | Rick Stein Wi******er | 7pm
Following Rick's journey from the Adriatic coast to the eastern Mediterranean, this supper club brings together the flavours of the ports and coastlines along the way.

19th June | New Bar Menu Launch | The Seafood Restaurant, Padstow
A delicious new line up of small plates now served at the bar - tempura oysters, Cantabrian anchovies, tuna tataki, devilled egg with Cornish crab and a Singapore chilli crab burger among them.

24th June | Food Stories Supper Club | Rick Stein Barnes | 7pm
General Manager Luca and Head Chef Nikolas lead four courses from Rick's Food Stories - maki rolls, tattie scones with smoked salmon, arroz roja and a sherry trifle with frozen berries to finish. A glass of wine included.

Transform a night in into a proper occasion. 🦞

Our Luxurious Lobster Pie is available to order through Dishpatch - a generous three-course seafood feast for four.

Begin with scallops in hazelnut and coriander butter with sourdough, then tuck into Rick's show-stopping pie: meaty lobster tail, king prawns and cod in a silky cognac velouté, baked in a reusable enamel dish under buttery latticed pastry.
Finish with spring onion mash and a fresh watercress salad.

As Rick says: "The secret of a good fish pie is really packing it with whatever's in there."

Available for delivery on 19 & 20 June 2026 only - orders must be in by 4PM the day before your chosen date.

Order at: dishpatch.co.uk/feasts/luxurious-lobster-pie

Half term is almost upon us. If you're looking to get the family out and make some memories near Padstow, here are a few of our favourite spots…

Treyarnon Bay has a natural rock pool that fills with crystal-clear water at low tide. Golden sands, perfect for kids - one of those beaches that feels like a proper find.

The Padstow Ferry has been making the short crossing between Rock and Padstow since 1337, making it one of Cornwall’s oldest ferry routes. Worth knowing: at low tide the boarding points move, don’t panic, just follow the crowd up the beach.

St George’s Cove sits 15 minutes west of Padstow Harbour along the coast path. A quiet beach with estuary views that are especially stunning at golden hour.

The Camel Trail from Padstow to Wadebridge is flat, easy and great for all ages. About a mile in, just past Little Petherick Creek, the estuary opens up for brilliant views back towards Rock.

And then there’s St Enodoc Church on the Rock side - a 12th-century church half-buried in sand dunes, with a graveyard that holds poet laureate John Betjeman.

Have a wonderful half term and let us know if you discover any hidden gems of your own 👇

Real conversation, a seasonal lunch and Jill sharing the kind of stories you don't often hear from someone in her position. The Q&A was surprisingly candid - the kind of honesty that's rare when you're the face of a well-known brand. Yesterday's Female Founders' Table was exactly what it promised to be.

If this looks like your kind of afternoon, we'd love to see you at the next one in Wi******er on 9 July. Let us know in the comments. 👇

The martini is simple… but there's nowhere to hide. 🍸
Meet Norbert, our Group Head Bartender and someone who thinks way too hard about your drink. (We mean that as a compliment.)

Curious to try one of Norbert's cocktails? Our bar at The Seafood Restaurant is available for walk-ins. Your seat's waiting.

Cook with Jack. Drink with Charlie. Are you in? 👨‍🍳

🍷 Dinner Party Dishes with Charlie Stein: Cook the dishes with our Head Chef Lecturer Nick, then sit down with Charlie while he pairs a wine to every single plate. Not a bad way to spend a Thursday.

🍽️ Cook with Jack Stein: Spend the day cooking alongside Jack and then sitting down to eat everything you've made together. A glass of wine, a recipe folder to take home and lunch overlooking the Camel Estuary. This one sells out.

Both courses include a long lunch at the en famille table, a certificate and of course, a very good excuse to book a night in Padstow. 🌊
