We truly appreciate all the love, support, and kindness shown to us during this difficult time. Thank you to everyone who attended Charlie’s funeral — it meant so much to our family to see just how loved he was.

We’d also like to let you know that we will be reopening today from 4pm. Charlie’s greatest wish was for us to continue, as he loved the kitchen and the restaurant so much. We will carry on his legacy with pride and in his memory.

We truly appreciate all the support and love shown over the past few days—it means the world to Charlie’s family. We are deeply grateful to see how many people cared for and loved him.

The funeral will take place on Friday 10th April at St John The Baptist R.C. Church, at 10:00am (BB12 7BN). Everyone is welcome to attend the church service. However, we kindly ask that the burial is reserved for family and close friends only, in line with the family’s wishes. We appreciate your understanding and respect for this.

We will remain closed until the weekend, reopening on the 11th April with normal hours. From the following week, we will do our best to return fully to normal.

With heavy hearts and tears in our eyes, we share the heartbreaking news that yesterday, Antonio Vetrano (“Charlie”) passed away after his battle with cancer.

He fought with incredible strength until the very end — a true fighter, a true inspiration. To us, he was not only our chef and owner, but the most devoted husband and the best father anyone could ask for. To all of you, he was a passionate chef who poured love and dedication into every dish he created.

We are deeply sorry to say that we will be closed for a short time as the family takes time to grieve, rest, and find strength. We truly apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Please know that we will reopen as soon as we are able — this was his final wish, and we are committed to honoring it.

Thank you all for your love, support, and understanding during this difficult time. We hope to welcome you back soon, in his memory. ❤️
