Apple Cafe A community cafe for Kennington, Oxford Apple Café opens in St Swithun’s Church Hall on Thursday mornings and Saturday mornings from 10.30 - 12.30.

We serve hot and cold drinks, delicious cakes, bacon butties and light lunches. We have newspapers and magazines, toys and a very warm welcome from our wonderful team of volunteers! Our food is locally sourced where possible, and our Coffee is donated by Jericho Coffee Traders. We have over 50 volunteers on its books – people in the village who want to support the core team (there are five of us)

as we are developing and running a café in Kennington. Volunteers help by running the cafe and also with fundraising and marketing. You are most welcome to come and join us! Proceeds are ploughed back into improving the cafe's services. The Café team is working with the Church on a refurbishment of the kitchen and some improvements to the décor.

Tomorrow, Thursday 17th July, is the last Apple Cafe of the season. Come along for the normal cakes,snacks and hot drinks. We'll be back in September.

Apple cafe will be shut for just the Saturdays in the Easter holidays,12th and 19th April. We will be open every Thursday, so come along for coffee and cake on those days.

This Saturday Kennington Garden Club will be at Apple Cafe. They will showing folk, particularly children, how to prepare 'plants and things' for the Annual Show which is to be on Saturday September 6th in the Village Hall. Come along and get your half term holiday off to a great start!

Apple Cafe is back after a break for Christmas this Thursday, from 10am, so pop along for a cup of tea and some cake!

Saturday 14th December will be the last Saturday of this year for Apple cafe. It will be a good one, with wreath making, father Christmas and traditional board games.

Limited availability for wreath making, so get there early!

The cafe will be open on Thursday 19th December, then reopening on Thursday 9th January
