🤍 Our first Nurture Circle meet-up took place last week here at The Coffee Bank in Ottery St Mary, it was so lovely to spend the morning chatting with local parents and little ones

The Nurture Circle was created to provide a warm, welcoming space where parents can connect, access support and feel less alone during feeding and early parenthood. Whether you’re breastfeeding, bottle feeding, combination feeding, pumping, pregnant or simply looking for community, you’re always welcome

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and helped make our first session such a lovely one. 🌿

We’ll be back again tomorrow, Tuesday from 10am–11:30am at The Coffee Bank, Ottery St Mary

Following on from our post a couple of weeks ago we want to say huge thank you to all of our amazing customers ❤️

Your support, kindness and loyalty mean the world to us, especially during these challenging economic times. Every coffee, every visit and every recommendation helps keep our little coffee shop going

We’re proud to be part of this community but independent businesses are really struggling at the moment, to survive we need your continued support… we know money is tight for everyone right now but please, when you do spend your money, where you can, choose to spend it in your small, independents like us to allow our town & community thrive once more ☕️

Dear our wonderful friends and customers

I am afraid we are having to write a statement to you that I really wish we didn’t have to. Due to the ongoing rise in costs and the current economic climate, it’s becoming increasingly challenging for small independent businesses like ours to remain open as usual. We are committed to doing everything we can to keep going and continue serving our community and we truly appreciate your ongoing support and kindness 🩷

From this Saturday and over the summer and quieter months for us we are going to close at 2pm

Across the week we will remain open until 3pm however if we have no customers after 2pm we may need to close earlier than advertised, as we simply can’t afford to keep staff on without enough custom to sustain it. We strongly advise that you plan your visits before 1:30pm, whilst if we have custom we will remain open, the pattern of our business usually means we are quieter in the afternoon so we hope this will help you to avoid arriving to find us closed 🙁

We hope you understand that these decisions are never taken lightly 😢

Every single visit makes a real difference to us so whilst the weather is warm and sunny, if you can, we’d love to see you pop by for a takeaway to enjoy on your outside adventures ☀️

Thank you for supporting our small independent businesses it genuinely means the world to us as without you we wouldn’t be here! We will update you on changes as we move through the months
