A little look at what we’ve been up to this week at The Old Coffee Pot! 🎥✨️
From beautiful afternoon teas and light lunches to hearty main meals, it’s certainly been a busy one for us in the kitchen!
All of our food is homemade with care, using locally sourced ingredients. 🥰
A huge thank you to everyone who has visited us this week. We really do appreciate every single one of you and your continued support of our little independent café. ❤️

🇬🇧 A very special visit to The Old Coffee Pot 🇬🇧

Today we had the absolute pleasure of welcoming members of the Infantry Boys Battalion & Infantry Junior Leaders Battalion Association (IBB & IJLB) into The Old Coffee Pot.
The gentlemen were in Oswestry for an Act of Commemoration at their memorial stone in Cae Glas Park, where they gathered to remember their friends and colleagues who are sadly no longer with them.
We were fascinated to hear that some of these gentlemen began their Army training when they were just 15 years old, as Junior Soldiers, before going on to serve in different regiments of the British Army.
With our café's 1940s military history and memorabilia, it felt especially meaningful to have them sitting together, sharing stories and memories over a cup of tea. 🇬🇧☕❤️
It was a real privilege to welcome you all, and thank you for your service.

We hope to see you again at The Old Coffee Pot. ❤️

We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has come in to see us throughout the summer holidays, and over the Oswestry Balloon Carnival weekend. 🎈❤️

It’s been a wonderfully busy summer, and we’re so grateful for all your support!

We’ve decided to close tomorrow, Bank Holiday Monday, so our team can enjoy some much-needed rest. ☕💤

We hope you all have a lovely Bank Holiday weekend, whatever you’re up to! 🌸

🎈 What a fantastic day at Oswestry Balloon Carnival! 🎈
We’ve had such a lovely day and want to say a huge thank you to everyone who came in to see us for breakfast and lunch today. ❤️☕🍰
We also had the pleasure of making breakfast for all of the balloon pilots this morning! 🎈👨‍✈️🍳 It was lovely to help get them fuelled up and ready for the day!
And the best part… it’s all happening again tomorrow! 🎉🎈
We’re so lucky to have Cae Glas Park right opposite The Old Coffee Pot – we really do have one of the best views in Oswestry! 😍
We can’t wait to see you all again tomorrow. Pop in for breakfast, lunch, a coffee or a slice of homemade cake and enjoy all the excitement of the Balloon Carnival right across the road! ☕🍳🍰
